06/5/2023 17:24 | “Longer term investment” = a trader that got it completely wrong. Seems you have a knack for trying to persuade people that overvalued fluff run by overpaid executives is a great “investment | terminator101
05/5/2023 10:00 | Well put jimmyloser, and that is where I will also leave it for now as well, or until the next news at least. One either sells or sits on these as a longer term investment now - take your pick I am holding as there is also the possibility of a take over because the brand value and franchise value is a lot more than the net debt and the current valuation, and in addition it is important to note that "for the avoidance of doubt the Group does not require (and is not seeking through this refinancing) additional liquidity" plus the adjusted EBITDA of GBP6.5 to GBP7 million for FY23, is ahead of analysts' expectations. One has to accept that some posters have different views and also an agenda. So I will follow with interest and see if my current losses are narrowed or increased over a period of time by holding onto MTC and buying more at some future point if no bid comes sooner. Each to their own. Enjoy the holidays and the rest of the summer weather in the UK. | clocktower
05/5/2023 08:29 | Mistype ,loosing both I would assume | applied1
05/5/2023 08:20 | applied1 well you asked why did CEO buy at 8.77 and 8.11 is that 2 buys or did you just mistype? Assuming the latter and he knows they must refinance at some point does he a, risk losing some or all of his £50k or b, risk losing all his £543k salary ? No brainer surely | fenners66
05/5/2023 07:41 | applied, Let me offer my take on this. fwiw and impo. This was rocked by the unexpected pull out from Russia and is still shaking from the high interest rates that they could afford in yesterday's world. They like others, got caught out as did many of their franchisees. However, that was yesterday. What I believe will happen (and hope) are the only things that they can do. They need to grow and announce new partnerships and credible ones. Especially in the USA. They WILL do that. Possibly with the finals. This will give a boost to their credibility and also the share price. That in turn will give them more fertile ground for remediating the interest charged and paid. The CEO didn't buy for a quick buck, he bought with a three year+ plan in mind. Time will tell if I am on track. For now, forget this, just put in a file marked next year! impo/dyor..........p | jimmyloser
05/5/2023 07:13 | Then me being a novice here, why the new CEO invest 50k at .0811 only to loose it all .I just don't get it people . | applied1
05/5/2023 06:49 | I think they are renegotiate it all | applied1

05/5/2023 04:51 | There's nothing wrong with the franchise business model, in fact its much better than the model before. Without revisiting the list of events impacting on this stock (as with other stocks) its simply a question of the companies ability to take advantage of franchise business in stable environments whilst the others are re established. Like everything, its time that plays these out and recovery happens | gepetto100
04/5/2023 16:10 | Did you lose money on EVE T101 and is that why you follow me around my Troll friend. Do you want me to repeat again, that I admit I lost money on EVE - It happens - show me someone with 100% record of winners T101. This time I am on the wrong side here at present but I expect to turn the situation around in due course. So tell us what I should be investing in now? I enjoy your company T101 as you are always polite, unlike some. Have a good evening all. | clocktower
04/5/2023 15:29 | Normal circumstances huh. If only it wasn't for The warThose pesky Ukrainians InflationCustomersWe we would be doing much better huh. Hilarious mate. Bottom line is you called this overvalued underperforming fluff totally wrong. Just like you called Eve totally wrong. | terminator101
04/5/2023 13:40 | Ah clocksucker, trying to mislead yet again. They are expecting Adjusted EBITDA of GBP6.5 to GBP7 million for FY23 mate not £10m. And actual profit will be a lot lower when all the adjustments are taken account of. That means this is already overvalued. And that's before they do an equity raise. | terminator101
04/5/2023 12:48 | applied1 It is questionable why he should have bought before this RNS as I am sure he would have been fully aware of all the figures but if you concentrate on this part of the RNS - it puts the rest into perspective. I expect the expected operating profit exceeding £10 million is the key - "Our medium-term guidance is unchanged for the steady state operation in more normal circumstances and we believe our continuing franchise operations remain capable of exceeding GBP10 million operating profit and we are now focused on accelerating our growth in both existing and new markets." Also if the directors purchased today and came out with top rate news with the next RNS what would some be saying then, if the share price shot up? | clocktower
04/5/2023 12:23 | there you have it - trying to manipulate the stock price higher while getting an increase in salary. | farrugia
04/5/2023 11:50 | Andrew cook received £543,500 in remuneration for 22, up from £415,500 in 2021. | terminator101
04/5/2023 11:35 | the first thing to ask is how much is the CEO's salary? | farrugia
04/5/2023 11:24 | Just want to ask why did the new CEO buy 50k worth of shares at .0877,I don't get it,anyone ?? | applied1
04/5/2023 08:45 | It is the subject. The price collapsed from25p to 6p because the Directors unilaterally shutdown its biggest and most profitable market. It is exactly the subject as to why this share price has been destroyed. That it may be uncomfortable for you is not a matter of fact. | thesageofsaint
04/5/2023 08:43 | Don't be a div. No just a person that is not a servile numskull that cannot think and lazily repeats propaganda that serves to fill you with a sense of moral superiority and virtue of 'doing the right thing'. When actually you are playing backstop for the evil masters that play the tune. Try doing some open minded independent research and what you would find is that everything you have been indoctrinated with needs to be inverted. The problem is that you will be too scared to accept the reality that the world is a corrupt cesspit and that you and the masses are lame captive minds, that you will not be able to cope. Best you keep your head out of the rabbit hole, you will not have the character to manage reality. Back to sleep now, daddy will read you a comforting story. 'Once upon a time you lived in a great country where everyone was beautiful but across a great sea was the lair of a really bad ogre...'. Go to sleep, go to sleeeeep, go to sleeeeeeep! | thesageofsaint
04/5/2023 08:34 | Agreed At this level ,can we expect more director buys ?? | applied1 |
