Hi Guys,

Came across MOR due the big dividend yield.

After a quick glance, it seems to me the reason for the share price collapse is because a big slug of earnings are from the Financial Sector.

With the Banking Crisis, it is probable that the order pipeline has seized up.

Any thoughts?

Why the 20% fall? Seems well over-cooked. I'll be checking in Monday a.m. - no question.

Why an private equity group would not be looking at Morse is suprising - seems a bit of due attention would make this a good investement...Do they have a BB board :)

Monetise looks like a useful return to shareholders.

Morse on its own looks cheap too if they can keep their current paths.

I'd interpret this trading statement as extremely bullish. They're ramping up the investment to seize opportunities.

In summary:
> further announcements can be expected.
> independent advise that value of Monitise significantly in excess of capital investment
> core Morse - Advisory & Execution services, continues to trade in line with expectations.
> Licence fees are about £1m p.a.
> Monitise Op Expense running at £5m
> direct opportunities have arisen in North America.
> strong interest from the likes of BT Global Services and Cisco
> investment £5m in total for the second half.

Normal volume up tenfold today and that's just around midday - not sure what's going on but looks positive.

Unusually tight spread offered today 109.5 - 109.75 amid higher volume - looks like MM's are happy to buy stock maybe somethings up?

MOR don't seem to go in much for RNS although they did promise trading update for spring 2007. Think patience is requ'd for this one and have just reminded myself why I continue to hold - taken from final results: -

"Chairman Richard Lapthorne said the board firmly believes that there is a
significant market opportunity for Morse's advisory & execution business and the group is targeting a doubling of percentage operating margin in the medium term.
In addition, he said the board believes Monitise has the potential to
generate significant revenues and operating profits within the medium term."

You could have missed it, but no mention from Barclays yet - whether that would be worthy of an RNS is moot

Alliance & Leicester has announced that it's planning to launch mobile phone banking in the new year.
The network will allow customers secure access to their current accounts on their mobile phone - wherever they are.

MM's trying to fill a large buy I'm told - wonder who's keen? That's a big move for the chart into a very positive loking shape now imo.
