13/7/2005 11:57 | People were expecting disappointing results. The company has not only announced results ahead of expectations and new entry into a potentially lucrative market with mobile banking, this when the share price is at a years low. Company still rated very modestly & I think a big re-rating is due and this has a lot further to run | ok,yah
13/7/2005 10:38 | Could someone help me out here. At their last interim results they had net cash of £39 million (now has dropped £2million) and after taking that away with other current assets from liabilties net current assets were £5million. Does this mean that Morse only really has £5 million cash? And that a part of that £39 million is to cover liabilities due within 1 year? | she-ra
13/7/2005 10:17 | has Morse explained how they will generate revenue from mobileATM? The mobile service will be provided by Stream who presumably will have a premium rate text charge. Will Morse get a cut of this transaction charge? she-ra: difficult for competition to get a foot in the door because mobileATM is a joint venture with LINK which is the largest ATM network in the UK and is owned by all the major banks. | culver
13/7/2005 10:07 | There's always competition in everything but the markets out there and they are going to have a share of it!!! | mattsmit11
13/7/2005 09:58 | mattsmit11 - Do you not think there will be competition?They havent made a unique discovery. | she-ra
13/7/2005 09:20 | panmure Gordon stepped up its stance on the stock to 'buy' from 'hold' with a 100 pence target. is in the latest rns m8 i'd say get in have you seen the new product there launching, mobile banking. That could honestly be the future. everyone uses mobiles now and the market is huge | mattsmit11
13/7/2005 09:18 | I've been watching this, but it has suddenly jumped. What do people see as the upsside now? Still deciding whether to buy? | optigonal
13/7/2005 09:12 | 670k x trade buy just gone thru | mattsmit11
13/7/2005 08:30 | that mobile banking is the future!!! | mattsmit11

13/7/2005 08:22 | Could someone help me out here. 13/7/2005 08:15 | Lookig good today! | gardensmock
13/7/2005 08:02 | Strong update today - long overdue correction in the making, methinks. May provide uplift to ITO, too. | pbracken
29/6/2005 16:36 | Notice that one can only buy 1K from EVO, yet he's on the offer; KBC will take 50K from you if you want to sell them. Doesn't appear like a collapse to me. Back-of-a-fag-packet analysis: The cash is worth 23p per share, so the market is valuing a £500m (profit-making) business at just £64m or 43p a share. Doesn't make sense to me - there HAS to be value here?! N'est-ce pas? | pbracken
29/6/2005 16:16 | CCC and MOR compete daily for business - the sentiment is simply that in the current climate the major customers in their market are just not spending.... | 2lb
29/6/2005 14:41 | How closely do they overlap, CCC and MOR? Notice that ITO is as yet unaffected by the fall out. | pbracken
29/6/2005 14:38 | 2LB, Hate to say it but I think you may be correct ? There have been quite a few MM sells today and I can't see any brakes being engaged on this share price slide. Q3 results and sentiment were terrible. The situation seems to be going from bad to worse for Morse. There's only one conclusion any Technical analyst / chartist can come to from this chart and when you look at the chart together with the deteriorating fundamentals ... it's not looking good at all for share holders. I hope the shorters don't move in onto this one otherwise we could see matters get a lot worse much faster. long term hold - near term avoid. | nilip
28/6/2005 12:57 | Computacenter have spooked the sector with a profit warning and saying consumers are holding back. This has upset the apple-cart and we get more of a knock-on. Having an effect on s/w, computer groups across the board by the looks of it. | timtom2
28/6/2005 12:53 | But why? Decent volume yesterday and up on the buy side. This is now lower than I expected. | timtom2
28/6/2005 12:14 | Collapse?????? | 2lb
10/6/2005 12:23 | Who started this thread? Are they dead? | pbracken
09/6/2005 14:04 | lb: let it never be said - by anyone - that you were taciturn. | pbracken |
