Citadel Europe LLP have just popped above the shorter threshold. I'll vote next AGM... Glass half full I'm wondering if the exec are ignoring shareholders concerns so brazenly because they are confident some soon forthcoming info is going to justify it.

Investment platforms vary in the ease with which they allow PI to cast AGM votes. "Most platforms, such as Hargreaves Lansdown, AJ Bell, Bestinvest and Charles Stanley Direct, will allow you to vote free of charge if you email them your voting instruction, send a secure message or phone them at least five days before the AGM. interactive investor and Fidelity Personal Investing have an online voting service which you can sign up to and get notification of events. Freetrade doesn’t have any provision to vote but if you contact the app directly it will support this." hTTps://www.investorschronicle.co.uk/ideas/2021/03/24/agm-season-vote-to-make-companies-better/

Two brothers alone took out Asda. Similar figure around £6Bn would do the job.

Shorters dropping this into the close. Trading around book price now. £200M of Covid costs was bang out of order and I would have sacked the CEO for this alone. This is a PLC not a charity. I do see MRW receiving a takeover offer, if it hasn't already..., within the next 12 months or so. Large freehold property portfolio. Probably won't be Amazon like most suspect but regardless take over price will be around £3. Dividend of 4-5% in the meantime.

Well done shareholders for not approving these obscene bonuses. I've added some more today. What an idiot Potts is. Should never have paid back the government business rates waiver. Covid costs were way too high.

hTTps://masterinvestor.co.uk/equities/why-morrisons-and-sainsburys-shares-are-on-track-to-deliver-growth/ Shouldn't a master investor know that MRW is no longer in the FTSE 100 and it could be a while before returning on current share price performance. Automatic entry is currently at a level of 5.7 billion. MRW (4.2b) would have to rise to about £2.37 on that basis. Otherwise re-entry will require others to be relegated and if the market is generally rising that could make the task harder. hTTp://www.stockchallenge.co.uk/ftse.php The AGM should comment on the miserable share price performance. What is holding back the shares and how come SBRY is now touching 6 billion when MRW was higher cap back in September. There might even be a case for share buybacks at current share price if it wasn't for all the debt which will have to be eliminated first.

Could always just buy us outright ;-) Why Amazon's supermarket shopping spree has still not paid off Jeff Bezos's empire now extends to Hollywood, but the online retail magnate has struggled to break into the humble grocery industry https://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/2021/05/29/amazons-supermarket-shopping-spree-has-still-not-paid/

HTTPS://news.sky.com/story/supermarket-chain-morrisons-is-latest-in-firing-line-over-covid-bonus-for-ceo-12319191 Why are bonus payments required for already well rewarded executives? Would Potts have deliberately performed less well if not incentivised by the extra cash? One idea the remuneration committee might like to consider is tying performance related perks to the share price. Potts took office in March 2015 on a day when the shares closed at 206p.
