Those aren't necessarily shorts isis. Bot usage normally indicates a seller/buyer trying to sell or buy in a pre-determined volume but without moving the price.

There is no big seller - some hedge fund has been shorting it though.

I have re-read the last few RNS announcements and have come to the conclusion that the main reason for the massive recent drop is primarily due to the large overhang created by the huge recent director dump.
The business is still in a growth phase and has a pretty decent divi.....if somewhat lumpy due to the special divis.
I actually added this morning so am now overexposed which I dont like to do but I could not find another more compelling home for some cash that I freed up last week.
I suspect it will take another 3-6 months for the MMs to clear all the stock they have and as such I am tempering my expectation of a quick rise.

Salpara, I hope you have added. Things seem to be definitely changing and I think you will get back to 179 soon. The share centre charting recommendations think this has 48% upside. Big buys are also coming in so things are all coming together.

Rather disappointing to see them firmly in the red on a strong day for the markets as a whole.
Have my holding at 179 but will potentially add when there is a clear change in share price direction as I do feel that a return to the 180 level should not be too demanding.

Hopefully they have done well in the last few months with the current account switching service starting. That should have lead to greater number of hits, me being one of them.

Interim statement due in around a month's time so I'd expect a slow but steady climb in anticipation.

Fairly tight stop. I think if this is going to bounce anywhere around here seems probable.

So as usual got the 8-10 p right cos I am a trader and that how I make my money. As for the long term I wouldn't like to say if this is the time. On the trade I am now flat

On the chart side the weekly candle saw a very sharp rejection of 142p which is the same price as the November 2012 support level which led to a rise of over 200p.

Traffic to the site seems to be fine on Alexa.

This is not a widely held share and the shorting started soon after the placing of Nixon's shares.

These people claim they don't do any harm but how many have been stopped out due to their messing around with the shares.

Well, assuming they increase the final divi in line with the interim increase then today you are buying a yield of 4.8%, that is excluding the special divi.
That means that it is now priced as a yield stock and not a growth one.
I clearly bought way too early at 179 and while I don't like to add in a falling trend I am inclined to double up just for the divi yield and if there is any further growth then I will get good capital growth as well.
Sooner or later a chunky well covered divi provides support.

Does look to me as if they are working through a large sell order, but it has to end at some point, and I'm a fan of the saying 'buy when everyone else is selling'.

I think that someone has borrowed stock and been shorting.

That's why you have all those AT trades.

We will see soon with the next update - this happens all the time now with loads of stocks.

Over 1000 trades a day is mental with this stock - it doesn't have that many holders and they hold in round numbers.

Get real.
