I suspect PL already has the votes. He will only need a mate or some family members to have picked up a $100k in shares in during April to get to 50%.

That's impressive! Especially when he hasn't had any criminal charges brought against him.

Over the last 13 years this management team has taken the share price from a high of 900,000p to 7p! Its not their fault, its the AIM market!

After giving this some thought it’s the timings and what appears to be rushed decisions that I have a problem with.
It’s all too convenient, I’m not throwing in the towel early.

I do not think any of the above was by accident, and the dismembering of this company has been calculated for a long time.

I think back to when the Trafigura board member stepped down. That was a big red flag.

If they had any decency they would have sold the ATOM stake and released the funds as a dividend to PIs before delisting.

Loans with massive interest rates to the from the management.Offers to cancel the crippling interest if Co hands over the oil assets. (On the sort of never never - no need to pay now!).Assets handed over just as politics change (no coincidence).Immediately, done share price crippled with new placing... Not needed before asset transfer..Etc etc. Etc etcConsolidation, railing at market in interviews.Threatening market to take his toys away.I wonder if any interest capital speculators. Could just buy a stake now and stop the delist. And hand ATOM shares over tommen holders. Is there any value there? How many bags is that.Come on PP you love these calcs!

I agree wholeheartedly with your post here samsung7 - and the similar post on the ATOM thread. Interesting that your and my post on ATOM denigrating the management have both been awarded a thumbs down.

I have been reading and contributing to many ADVFN threads, over the past year or so in particular, to appreciate that sometimes posters can paint a picture that is unpopular and perhaps unwarranted. Such often get the t-down when the thread is in a positive view of the investment.

I cannot comment for MEN as an investment other than the dire state depicted by the share price graph. I can attest to my missgivings re. ATOM but will leave such for that thread and hope it causes at least a check and a pause for any would be punters.

The only thing that anyone can do here is shout out loud if the management of MEN has any interest at all in any other quoted company
They should carry a wealth warning as for the comments of not able to raise money in the stock market just how many millions has been raised in this sorry saga all to end up squandered and pilfered it has been a good lifestyle choice for some for others it was hard earnings it and hard losing it some may even say being stolen from.
If anyone here feels hard done then please warn your fellow investors of any other companies the management of MEN have an interest in,Stop them making the same mistakes as you and I Have Here.

Pp must be PL. Who else would have been constantly valuing ATOM + GHC etc. at many multiples of the MEN share price just to keep our interest alive and prevent us dumping after the 35p placing on 24th January. 74p to 7p in 9 weeks must be some sort of a record. What was our BoD or Nomad doing (not doing!) whilst all this wealth destruction took place right in front of their own eyes. PL has simply stolen the lot. The FCA ought to be looking at this but won't. And the government wants to further reduce regulation so as to attract more spivs to the UK? We've got more than enough as it is!

If there really was any value in ATOM and GHC Surely a vulture would be able to take 30% of the shares at this price?

Not sure about anyone else but I sat on my hands today and watched the bid price creep up after the initial sell off.
Let’s see what Tuesday brings demand wise.
