28/3/2024 12:33 | My grandkids have very small holdings in ATOM in the trust funds I set up a couple of years back. Fortunately, they each have a larger holding in RR and that has countered the loss (and more) of ATOM. O posted on the ATOM thread a couple of weeks back that I was uneasy about Peter Levine. I was questioned by a poster at that time (marmiesz), somewhat incredulous in the fact I was unprepared to invest further (myself) in ATOM. Seems my gut instinct woke up in time. Sadly, Olivier Mussat seemed a sensible sort of guy when I watched him being interviewed. Perhaps he's been taken in by PL as well. I see ATOM is down 5.5% since about 10am this morning. | mcunliffe1
28/3/2024 12:03 | Might be worth buying the whole company at this price. 😄 | investorwil
28/3/2024 12:01 | He has been spamming MRP, PPC, MEN over other BBs for many years. I think a change of alias may be in order. | brasso3
28/3/2024 11:58 | No sign of Pp yet. His comeback post should be a doozie when it lands. | lr2
28/3/2024 11:55 | Has anyone seen the Pied Piper today? | brasso3
28/3/2024 11:50 | LR2 I always felt like he was a second hand car salesman based on the interviews he did. I wrote this investment off a long time ago. | brasso3
28/3/2024 11:41 | I echo what Ducatiman says, I took an instant dislike to Levine the first and only time I met him. For once my instincts were right. This is not a man I could trust. It only amazes me that no-one else ever seemed to feel that way. Perhaps none of you ever met him. | lr2
28/3/2024 11:30 | My condolences to those who have been shafted by Levine. Held these a while back a couple of times but always lost. Levine has lost all credibility as a manager. Probably why atom are on the slide too. | ducatiman
28/3/2024 11:02 | As posted by someone earlier. The AIM casino is now almost not investible with 90% of the companies being operated by crooks. I do not even waste my time researching AIM companies anymore. I spend most of my time researching crypto and whilst there are crooks in that arena the gains are substantial and with reasonable risk management it is not difficult to make good money (with a 4 year time horizon). I do not have a high risk tolerance there but even with a split as follows it has now dwarfed my Share investments:- - 70% Bitcoin - 15% Ethereum (staked at 3.5% yield) - 15% ~20 different altcoins (some staked at 10% - 20% yields) Not bragging, but with my bitcoin I could buy the whole of MEN at current market cap... | brasso3
28/3/2024 10:45 | Brasso....My guess is that Shroders wrote it all off years ago. | chris cat
28/3/2024 10:36 | He will only buy out the loyal institutions I guess. I wonder what Schroders were thinking buying in the recent 35p placing! | brasso3
28/3/2024 10:35 | Just checked......99.24% down after 15 years | chris cat
28/3/2024 10:05 | Fair enough Good luck | jbravo2
28/3/2024 09:55 | JB...Again you are probably correct however my ability to pick individual shares that are winners is beyond shocking. Because of this and a few other AIM disasters I promised myself that I would never buy another AIM share. I tried a few larger cap shares and still got it wrong. Over the years when I've bought funds, they've done quite well, a bit boring but nice steady rises, so I will be sticking to funds from now on. | chris cat
28/3/2024 09:44 | You don’t have to buy a bacon roll. You don't think you can find a better punchers chance ANYWHERE else in the WHOLE of the market than someone who has lost you 98% of your cash so far? As I say… you’re too emotionally involved. | jbravo2
28/3/2024 09:41 | JB..you're dead right, I have zero confidence in any kind of turnaround that will give me more cash than I could get today.....but I'd rather retain the punchers chance than buy that bacon roll | chris cat
28/3/2024 09:40 | Yes, that’s the only point of finesse now. When will be the max price point before delisting? | jbravo2
28/3/2024 09:35 | Jb, Thanks for your input. They will take all off me today and the quote keeps slowly rising. All about timing now I guess. | all in eol
28/3/2024 09:24 | If you plan to hold fine. I mean then I would have a series of questions about delivery and your ability to assess whether they are a team capable of delivering a turnaround. I say “would have” because I’m more than aware I won’t convince you it is better to gamble your small amount on something else rather than something that has serially disappointed. You’re too emotionally involved. But if someone is holding somehow thinking he’ll offer MORE when delisted rather than the price you can achieve today I’d have questions about why you think that will happen. Is he buying everything available today? Both deluded, just in different ways. | jbravo2
28/3/2024 09:14 | Remember when people used to slam Crimestoppers on the other thread, for daring to suggest that we'd get F@@ked. Incredibly Rob Shepherd "liked" this mornings tweet about the delisting.....As I said many times...he hardly ever bought in the market (no matter how low the price fell)....and that's the man earning c£250k per year and in charge of the company finances. The signs were there all along and Brasso and I continually pointed them out. I never sold because they'd destroyed my investment so much, that it wasn't worth selling, so I held and viewed it more as a lottery ticket just in case we hit the big time....which I never truly expected. Been a very expensive lesson. | chris cat
28/3/2024 09:08 | JBravo2.....I was 98% down before todays announcement....not sure there is anything to rescue. Utterly scandalous. I plan to hold my shares in the private enterprise, only because selling them would get me just enough to buy a bacon roll from Greggs. Mine are held with HL, so no idea how that works. | chris cat
28/3/2024 09:05 | 500k mcap. Oh dear. | oilforex
28/3/2024 08:57 | It’ll be under the price available today. Rescue your remaining funds before you move to relying on a offer he is at pains to point out he might not make | jbravo2
28/3/2024 08:55 | I think Pp will be along soon with the usual positive spin. I got MEN totally wrong which will lead to a big loss regardless of whether PL makes an offer for all the remaining shares as I’m under no illusion, it will be nowhere near my average… | all in eol |
