For the sake of clearing up some confusion, have I got something wrong? The RNS was issued at 12.10pm on the 11th August. The trade in question of 1,155,027 was not announced until after hours on the 12th with time stamp of 10.22hrs. Do you have other information to show that the trade was made 90 mins prior to the RNS on the 11th my friend? Or were you referring to another trade?

Some of these detractors on here the last couple of days are laughable. ....If there was anything untoward as these bed wetters are alluding to then the situation just would have been left. GB would not have taken the trouble to engage and draw attention to himself for cannon fodder later on. Chill and relax ffs.

Any Chartists around who can give any insight on where the share price could go ?

GB, has given reasons. Nothing untoward and little reason to suspect. There is an extension to deadline, so why not use this if necessary? Also, opportunity to include very positive news in forecast if a new contract is in process. The market does not seem over concerned by any of this, neither am I. IMHO

marvelman whatever the exact reasons for the delay they relate to a period before GBs official involvement in MWG (i.e before the fundraise and his appointment) so at least in my mind it makes any conspiratorial storyline virtually impossible.
Most likely something to do with the China office/technicalities to do with royalties from the Sunup subsidiary?
Whatever the cause it can nothing away from the potential of the new product which is completely unrelated.

MP...its only amy wary opinion formed from 20 years of trading during which time I have learned to take the better safe than sorry line. The odds are that there is nothing more tan delays caused by the issues you have highlighted. I am just stating my reasons for being out but I certainly would not want to discourage people from taking the contrary view to my own.

Unless I've missed something the deadline is 30th September according to the original RNS. Bit of premature evaluation?

marvelman,

Gerry has provided his explanation of events and given his track records here and over at SKIN I take him at face value. The delays are due to the issues of trying to deal questions about parts of the company that were sold last year and where staff have left and not available to answer them. It's just taken much longer to address than usual. Good enough for me.

Monkey Puzzle...I do agree that "sometimes people looks for trouble where there is none" but it can also be that people do not look for trouble even if there is some. I do feel that this company has a unique and compelling business model and dearly wish to be part of the story. The problem I have is that when a company announces a delay to the accounts (twice in this period) alarm bells start to jingle. I have seen too many instances like this when auditors have discovered serious issues and need time to investigate further. I am not saying this to be true in MWG's case but for the sake of another few weeks on balance it is better to sit it out. If indeed a big positive announcement does come first then I will no doubt be wringing my hands while the remainers who have taken their chances are in clover. Either way its only my take but in any event good luck to all invested,

I'm not all bothered by latest RNS. I realise for courtesy reasons but I think not a necessary call considering have been waiting weeks. It just had a bit of a negative affect to share price in my opinion, but nothing to get uptight about. I'm sure a very positive is on it's way soon.

For me the RNS was simply a courtesy to let shareholders know what's going on.. The results are late (no doubt) the reasons logical ... No conspiracy for me.

The large trade, if I recall, was 10.30am - (90 mins prior to RNS) it looks like someone got wind of an RNS (but no details) and took a chance, to date did not work out.. Price was 2.60p which was the standard trade at the time.. No conspiracy for me

Perhaps an over simplification

I'm not sure. share price up around 11% when RNS dropped, fell to 5% at close. Further 5% fall today. Who knows?

Unless the aim was to shake out some weak holders prior to more news and stock is tightly held? It doesn't look it has worked as no one blinked. Onwards and upwards.

It was very odd to drop an RNS stating delay to results when we already had headline figures weeks ago. Not really necessary considering report would have to be published before end of month and market already informed of delay weeks ago?

George theory for me is price ran up too quick for some so out comes RNS to say

"announces that it has taken longer than originally expected to finalise the audit of financial results for the year"

Its not technically a speeding ticket, but they added "however good progress has been made." good progress on getting results out? or great progress and they 'may' update on something else before?

Someone either dropped a sell which has been absorbed or a buy which will be confirmed should the current uptrend continue from tomorrow.
