Thanks hamidahamida, a really interesting if not lengthy detailed report which proves that the research and tests for the virus in wastewater are at a rather advanced stage, a lot has been mentioned of MWG technology in this regard and I only hope that MWG can help in some form. This technology is essential for the early detection of the virus in Sewerage and is mind blowingly financially for such a relatively small British company. What multiple will be placed on the company if our technology can be utilised? Surely 3 figures + !!

DaveMac, I suspect that this is the same alert system that is currently being worked on by all parties to test and launch when ready. GB said last week on a tweet that it is only a few weeks away from being announced.

Yes Paul, quite.
Let's hope it will be pre-September and drama free. I still honestly think that we will get an RNS before FY2019 giving some excellent news.

If the FY2019 are published any later than September there won't be a statement with regards 'what's predicted' to happen in 2020, it will include a statement with regards 'what did' happen in 2020 and a an outlook for 2021 😂 😂

The past results are already known Brucie from the previous RNS. The forthcoming RNS will tell us that (which we already know) BUT will include a forward looking statement with who knows maybe a contract added in. Only positives to come.

Added this afternoon. I'm choosing to believe that GB will come out with the goods here via SKIN. On that basis I see very good upside. Nevertheless, slightly nervous about what those results will contain.

I've seen that, very busy trading going on there, people buying it because everyone else is trading it too, it yoyos all day and no doubt some are trading it 3 or 4 times a day, will either end in tears or some people will make good money there.

Monkey its the magnet called SYME which is attracting in a lot of other stocks sellers. Ask them why they are buying SYME and the answer will most probably be "I don't know, its going up" That's about the level of research mate. LOL

Strange how we are so close to newsflow here and yet sellers want out. unless they are all traders and want bank profits to buy back again.

Yes, delay in results are really holding any new big buyers. There is a clear overhang and with results a few weeks away and news a few weeks ago, could see this slip. Would be a buying opportunity around 1.8p on the chart. I'm holding as no real profit to take.

Our seller is pretty determined any demand is hit....given the potential size of the overhang this could drift for many months. I had hoped they would sell into strength but obviously not the case ....time to go elsewhere me thinks

The Supply & Demand Balance
Since the financial crash in 2008 the Cruise Industry has been one of the most stable and prosperous maritime sectors. It has experienced huge fleet growth in recent years with a growth in demand to match. Figure 9 shows the number of Cruise Ships built and set to be built from 2000-2028.
2019 saw the largest number of vessels built in a single year to date increasing the global fleet by 5%. The current order books for 2021 and 2022 are both set to be higher than 2019 levels with 28 and 25 orders respectively.
With current global operations suspended, companies have begun announcing new-build delays. This will reduce the current predicted 15% growth between 2020-2022 helping to balance the supply with demand.
Figure 10 compares the passenger miles from 2019 to 2020. This graph significantly highlights the impact of the “no sail order” and layups have had on the industry. In 2019 the passenger miles remained at stable levels of circa 500 million Pax-Nm. March 2020 saw the figure plunge towards 100 million Pax-Nm, where it has settled through to July as vessels continue their non-profit repositioning.
There are indications that the required adjustments to match supply with demand are already materialising. Newbuild delays are slowing the fleet growth and only four newbuild orders have been placed this year.
Passenger ticket bookings are already showing a strong demand so there is every possibility that there will be a return to near 2019 levels.
