I assume that original professional valuation of minoans interest of 100 million Euros is not related to the statement regarding stabilised turnover.

I agree 100% with the the statement below. This has been the case for many years .
Now within short order it is within our grasp.

Catalysts for rerating, short term, will be provided by firm evidence that MIN has navigated key challenges and made the development a reality. In the immediate term, any revised agreement with the Foundation should prompt a reappraisal of the group’s investment appeal.

I understand the meetings are ongoing to refine the detail but noises are highly encouraging that a deal is close.

Statement sets out catalysts for potential rerating
Minoan’s statement for the year to end October 2021 sets out the status of its Cavo Sidero project in Crete, and details of the progress made during the period (and post the year-end) to bring the development towards implementation.

The project is a luxury hotel and villa development that will house four luxury five-star hotels and villa complexes. Minoan commissioned new studies for the detailed environmental assessment of the project and site during FY21. These underpin a revised masterplan which incorporates a new, more luxurious development that fully capitalises on the asset’s ‘Strategic Investment’ status.

The investment case pivots on potential for Minoan to secure (a) an amended agreement with the Foundation in 2022 and (b) development partners to undertake or partner / purchase discrete components of the scheme’s hotels or villas, typical for this type of development.

The current business plans forecast, once the resort becomes fully operational, a stabilised turnover for hotel & villa rental rooms above €100m pa which excludes real estate profits. Catalysts for rerating, short term, will be provided by firm evidence that MIN has navigated key challenges and made the development a reality. In the immediate term, any revised agreement with the Foundation should prompt a reappraisal of the group’s investment appeal.

He’s a curse and has become a shorter since it’s been allowed, anyone that makes money out of shorting a perfectly good Co. isn’t good with me.
I’m personally glad he’s not endorsing us.

The placing was obvious months ago, the Company had no money just some loan at a high interest rate, let’s hope the management actually deliver this time and not burn through the cash with no end deal to save their bacon, Jury is still out with a massive dilution. They need to seriously deliver this time!

It's a fair enough comment from him as he tipped this when it was 6p +. He said sell sometime ago although he says Nigel still holds. He hopes it comes good but can't bring himself to tip it again.

Well they said last week with the results "The proposals included one which was based on an acceptance by Loyalward of a set of principles and documentation set out by the Foundation as being their preferred basis of cooperation"

So I think we can assume a deal with the Foundation will be concluded, hopefully in short order. That will not only unlock the commercial action but will I suspect give DAGG the comfort to extend the loan, hopefully on significantly better terms.

Certainly the two members of DAGG at the AGM didn't express concerns about the loan, they, just like the rest of us just want the project to move on towards development

Yes agree the volume is the one saving grace today. It will have cleaned out some of the overhang.

But pretty please people dyor and try not to only hear/read only what you want to hear/read......

No loan renewal has yet been announced post-April 2022. Indeed as anyone who read results last week will know, loan negotiations were said to be ongoing.

I suppose if most of the 38 million are being sold, it's tricky to announce holdings updates!

Here's a little carrot though for bulls.

;Were it to emerge that the supposed 'saviour' of 2021, viz, Martin Gilbert, to announce a declarable stake......

Assuming the seller of 2.2 million shares got them in the placing, they made £250. I guess they could be one of those who got them as payment so would see that as an acceptable return. Whatever it seems a reasonable number of the placed shares have been churned through the market today

Given the volumes and the price yesterday, can news be really coming anytime soon? Would they really get away with helping themselves to a big discount if they knew that a deal was just around the corner.

With all the dilution that has taken place over the last few years, we have effectively been recapitalised. And still don't have any money! Nor a deal. Just more jam tomorrow.
