Interestingly Spreadex will let you buy 50k at least at the offered price. I just availed myself of that amount and will try for a few more in a minute. So if you do have a Spreadex account, give it a try.

If they were issued at 2.75p then it was unlikely anyone would want to part with them for 1p.

Well no sign of those 2.47m fee shares hitting the market today so the market makers remain seriously short of stock. The stated market size is 25,000 shares at 1.25 but I was just quoted 2.2p to get that many. They will currently only let you have 10k at the ask price.

Certainly The Auditors would be vulnerable to signing off an unqualified audit report
in the current circumstances unless there is compelling evidence to support the valuation.

The auditors are not one of the big beasts..

And if the inventory figure is still in the accounts at cost £45M from memory the closer they get to a deal suggests the market cap of £4.9M is slightly out - by a factor of TEN!

Mind you that should mean that the accounts for the year ended 31/10/19 will be presented, which suggests to me everything ok with the auditors and inventories or am I getting ahead of myself?

Edit: Last years agm announcement was on 8th April and the accounts were also signed by the chairman and auditors on 8th April, so am getting pretty hopeful for the same this year.

Spike? All I see is a modest recovery from grossly oversold, with the market makers now seriously short of stock. Another day when they would not fill orders at the stated market size on the ask, hence the 1k trades. I eventually had my 30k order filled after buying just 1k, which I assume then places an obligation on the MM to either fill the larger order or move off the ask.

Maybe the MMs are expecting some ofthe 2.7m additional shares to be issued tomorrow to come into their hands....

I can see the logic of buying into a spike it suggests that positive news is ahead.

Averaging down when a share is falling is generally catching falling knife.

I’ve averaged all the way down, today was just as there was a bit of interest and stock seemed tight. Whenever a share suddenly hits the leaderboard I hope some new people will read up why or refresh their memories ( after all these years) and it may bring some new money in to help out And keep interest up before news drops.

Why do people wait to 'average down', 'top up' into a spike?? If it's to bring their average down,.buying into a spike makes little sense!!

100k were readily available through HL, if we only realise 4p eventually it will feel like Xmas getting my £21k back.

I have averaged down on a number of occasions each average is now well above the current share price so I sit and wait..

It's the mm's periodic spike in the s.p, it's to keep you all interested and committed to the cause ... anyone with sense would use these spikes to escape..

Something closer to £40m + would be more realistic in my opinion. Clearly the market was doubting that CE would be able to conclude a deal or deals then add Covid-19 into the equation. However although it has taken an extraordinary length of time far more than we might have expected negotiations are still proceeding and hopefully we will soon see them concluded and shareholders see their patience rewarded.
