19/3/2020 19:04 | Fireplace there are others who post here who have had contact with CE and have had a far more optimistic outlook than what Atlantic has I’m quite sure. However I will leave it to them to reflect that view here if they are still of that opinion. The market cap at £4m looks crazy to me. However the lack of any update, hint of progress does beg the question how all that has been reported previously to suggest the value of the site is many times higher could be misguided. Clearly the coronavirus crisis is not helping us in anyway and although I believe our doctors and scientists will overcome it in time it is going to be a little while yet. If they don’t then Minoan will be the least of our worries. | yorgi
19/3/2020 18:59 | I can’t believe there are some on here who think CE is anything but a total failure-an expensive one at that.I keep asking the same question-what is behind the £50m in WIP. Never met the guy but I will at the next EGM/AGM and will be calling for his resignation.Nearly 30 years!! | pinkfoot2
19/3/2020 18:46 | Cheers atlantic, I remember someone from the board said they had contact with CE obviously it was you. Ah well 13 trading days to go. | fireplace22
19/3/2020 18:01 | Fireplace I am not a Will I have had plenty of contact with Ce over the years by email and speaking to him. He is always charming Polite and Full of Optimism , Sadly it never leads to anything. | atlantic57
19/3/2020 15:23 | wi1l, Have you been in contact with the company recently, they obviously can't give you anything confidential but it may be possible to judge by their attitude and demeanor if there is any cause for optimism? Straws, clutching etc. | fireplace22
19/3/2020 15:12 | They will be able to repay the loan when they achieve their and the shareholders aims by disposal/JV of the whole or most probably part of the project, atlantic. Supposedly in the not too distant future but that bit remains outstanding, sadly. It just buys them more time without the need for further dilution and solves the Zachary problem. | wi1l
19/3/2020 13:51 | With Respect Will. How will the repay the loan ? They seem incapable selling any part of the site. Yes I have to wait for the official rns but there is zero indication that they are any nearer to signing off anything. Maybe they will offer the government a billion shares ??? | atlantic57
19/3/2020 08:25 | Yes, that was all that was needed by the looks of things. | wi1l
19/3/2020 08:13 | Someone’s just given them 350k of them. DC | daicaprice
19/3/2020 08:07 | FWIW MM's looking to buy up to 600K in one go today - promising? | wi1l
19/3/2020 06:55 | Does the company qualify for this: Support for businesses through the Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme A new temporary Coronavirus Business Interruption Loan Scheme, delivered by the British Business Bank, will launch next week to support primarily small and medium sized businesses to access bank lending and overdrafts. The government will provide lenders with a guarantee of 80% on each loan (subject to a per-lender cap on claims) to give lenders further confidence in continuing to provide finance to SMEs. The government will not charge businesses or banks for this guarantee, and the Scheme will support loans of up to £5 million in value. Businesses can access the first 6 months of that finance interest free, as government will cover the first 6 months of interest payments. Further details, including on the lenders providing access to this scheme will be announced in the coming days, and the scheme will be available from early week commencing 23 March 2020. | wi1l
18/3/2020 15:10 | Quite astonishing the spike in volume yesterday and then today right back down again. | yorgi
18/3/2020 07:27 | Thought all the sustained buying was pointing to an RNS logged in the system, not a 7 am delivered one anyway, but plenty of time before the bell. DC | daicaprice
17/3/2020 18:56 | That make sense to me as well DC, sounds very plausible, let’s hope that is the case. | yorgi
17/3/2020 18:30 | Worked buy through the day is my guess, it got filled eventually and reported late. DC | daicaprice
17/3/2020 18:19 | Yes interesting Will, difficult to say what it is buy or sell. I guess we might be able to make a better guess when we see where the MM’s open in the morning. Hard to believe the MM’s would have bid for that off a seller so I agree probably a buy but others might have another view. | yorgi
17/3/2020 18:11 | 1M @ 0.90 snuck through at the end to throw a bit of confusion into the days events. Its 50:50 but FWIW as sales all went through at around about 0.80 probably another buy. | wi1l
17/3/2020 15:20 | Coronavirus: US volunteers test first vaccine | yorgi
17/3/2020 15:17 | That of course would be great if true :-) Seriously a knockout bid would be great but I doubt we will see that but I can't see how the site can't be worth several times the present market cap even in the very uncertain time we are now in. | yorgi
17/3/2020 15:00 | Probably our suitor getting a few cheap before the knockout bid arrives. | fireplace22
17/3/2020 14:59 | And it occurred to me that if this continues the mm's must be losing money on every trade (subject to seller absent). | wi1l
17/3/2020 14:58 | Highest volume in the last 12 months, now twice the volume of any previous high volume day as well. | yorgi
17/3/2020 14:48 | And the buying continues. This month 9M buys (today 3.9M) and sells 5.8M (today 2.5M) that's 3.2M to the buys. MM's may possibly be running a little low. Encouraging. | wi1l
17/3/2020 14:38 | However if CE has been making progress and is on the verge of releasing some good news then all will change very quickly. Regardless of progress or lack of progress there is no getting away from it the coronavirus impact for the medium to longer term is the big unknown. I believe the ingenuity and science of mankind will find the answer in time but that may be a little way off yet. | yorgi |
