That of course would be great if true :-)

Seriously a knockout bid would be great but I doubt we will see that but I can't see how the site can't be worth several times the present market cap even in the very uncertain time we are now in.

Probably our suitor getting a few cheap before the knockout bid arrives.

And it occurred to me that if this continues the mm's must be losing money on every trade (subject to seller absent).

Highest volume in the last 12 months, now twice the volume of any previous high volume day as well.

And the buying continues. This month 9M buys (today 3.9M) and sells 5.8M (today 2.5M) that's 3.2M to the buys. MM's may possibly be running a little low. Encouraging.

However if CE has been making progress and is on the verge of releasing some good news then all will change very quickly. Regardless of progress or lack of progress there is no getting away from it the coronavirus impact for the medium to longer term is the big unknown.

I believe the ingenuity and science of mankind will find the answer in time but that may be a little way off yet.

Add the Coronavirus factor to the lack of any update since December and some selling by cautious or possibly wise is not surprising.

...but where are they all coming from at this knock down price?

This block buying is very encouraging.

I'd rather 15p per share for the company, wouldn't trust this lot again with any cash!
In truth, in the current market, I'd be ecstatic with 5p, begrudgingly happy with 3p and relieved to be out with something at 2p.

If they pull any sort of deal off now it will be akin to the raising of Lazarus from the dead or the parting of the Red Sea at a realistic valuation .

We await the rns

We are pleased to announced that we have received an offer of 15 pence a share for the whole site :))))

Non taken.
Odd though, there must be a massive seller in the wings yet reciprocal buys just keep flooding in to take most of them otherwise we'd be at .5p now.

OK, put your hand up if you ever really thought we'd be here? So lovely Corna gave us a big shove...but we didn't object much did we?

And who would openly admit their real or paper losses here. Certainly not me!

If they pull this off and get the share price anywhere the place we often thought it should go, then it will be the equivalent of Moses parting the dead sea. (apologies if you are Egyptian!)

Quite so Will but still some want to sell and in the absence of news it is not surprising.

Said before but I see absolutely no reason for those share options to be exercised given the share price is around the strike price.

Unless there is deal to in the offing

Considerable buying today mopping up the sales.

So far this month buys total 7M and sells 4.7M, shouldn't the share price be heading in the opposite direction??

Fireplace if we ever sign a contract with a third party then the price paid will be the judge of how much detail they were aware of and grasped.

The history here speaks for itself.

On Paper this has always looked like a world class asset.Current market turmoil suggests that this would be the perfect place to park money. This has been the case for some months.

We await that rns...

I don't like speculation because really it is a waste of everyones time but since the bod remain silent we are left with just that silence.

atlantic, I'm sure Day, Raby and other directors must be fully aware of any small print and still hold possibly up to 30% between them.

Will Good to get your comments to balance mine .

Fireplace a friend of mine paid £40 a share for a company that was developing land.
The 2008 crisis put paid to any hopes of a profit. In the 12 years since no offers were received .

The land was not contaminated but the contract contained onerous clauses which meant no one would touch it with a barge pole.

A white knight shareholder is now offering 100 000 pounds for the whole site. This will GIVE shareholders hopefully £0.25 back.

Shareholders like myself did not spend enough time reading the details of the MIN contract.

Yes Will is correct we should wait and see what the rns says..

atlantic, everything has its price so unless our plot of ground is contaminated with anthrax or radioactive fallout I can't see why it's not worth our £4m market cap or a multiple of that. Maybe we've been demanding too much?
Similar could have been said at the time about the travel arm (no buyers) until our incetuous white knight came along....and turned an ugly frog into a beautiful princess, at least for a time until she became infected with CV.

Putting my positive hat on atlantic which is pretty difficult at the moment it would possibly be more advisable to wait for the rns that is surely have surfaced had it not been for the tumoil in the market. Maybe they are waiting for the dust to settle.

EDit: theres still some buying interest too.

Fireplace Based on information in the public domain which is my only guide and share price history.

The obvious conclusion is the directors are unable to sell this project to any third party.
