"Assay results are currently awaited for more than 4,000 samples which
have been submitted to the laboratory to date. The laboratory has
suffered some delays due to plant unavailability and other factors."

If this is essentially the only reason for the drop then they still seem a damn good longer term investment.

I don't think that small piece of 'bad' news warrants such a sustained fall.

Thanks val, same to you too. can actually buy and sell at mid price across the way. We really deserve something for our patience both here and over there. Frustrating how all the research goes unrewarded. Clearly the potential is there but that doesnt seem to count for anything in the market's valuation of stocks at the minute.

Have a good Xmas and NY robbi. The other one likely to say something this week re: Plat-2. May have to sacrifice something?

Got my seasons greetings from Glencar today via email. I would prefer it if they would update us and reassure the market that everything is going to plan, or alternatively do some more PR work and drum up some new investors....

regards to all

Me too. However, unless you have to sell up, the current share price seems to me like an early Christmas present and I have topped up accordingly. Paying 7.4p may not be the bottom but on a risk/reward calculation, it seems a good bet. I would be very surprised if all the drilling they are doing now and through 2008 failed to result in a substantial increase in resources at Komana and in finding at least one other promising prospect from their target list.

As far as I know, GEX gets all its assays done at Morila in Mali which gives a much faster turnaround time than for most other explorers.

General reports of a problem in the mining world with the production of reports, results of drilling, the lead times reportedly becoming longer.
Seems to fit?
