11/12/2007 10:13 | I can work out why the delay in posting buys. Whereas sells seem to come up straight away. I have bought another 2 X 50k today and they will most likely be after close as unknown. scaffold | scaffold
11/12/2007 09:47 | Do they have funding issues? Do they need more money? I just can't work out why this is being relentlessly walked down? | ![]() stuart14
11/12/2007 08:41 | I can't remember the last company I saw that has dropped so consistently for so long! Still not based on any actual news though. | ![]() maniac3

06/12/2007 12:24 | Serpico, good post. I'm certainly disappointed but not too surprised. Over this time period, the capex required to get a gold mine into production has effectively doubled thereby increasing the hurdle rate for a mine to be economic. Short of small-scale, shallow open-pit, easy leach ops in low-cost countries like Mexico or very high-grade underground mines, you need at least 1m oz before a producer is likely to get interested, and probably double that in a country like Mali with limited infrastructure where you have to generate your own power etc.. Hopefully in this drilling season we will get much closer to this figure in Komana (both East and West). The hint of another major find would also give us a boost, as would gold over $850. Unfortunately it's dropping back with a US $ recovery. | ![]() pecker1
06/12/2007 12:23 | Is it a sell? It could be DLY buy from other day..some big trades mysteriously appearing. I never understand the buy/sell thing. If it goes up at end of the day it was a positive trade...if not..well? | ![]() valentine
06/12/2007 12:20 | Let's hope it turns round now Stuart..with XTR we could have a good week or so. | ![]() valentine
06/12/2007 12:19 | mmmmm..... who'd sell 1.5M just before news ? | bozicle
06/12/2007 12:09 | 1.5 million sell just gone through. Suspect that has been dragging the share price for a while. | ![]() stuart14
06/12/2007 07:38 | In the last 2 weeks I have bought another 250000 and not all trades have been shown. The 22nd I bought 2 x 50000 and only one was shown, and the 23rd I bought 100000 and that was never shown. Yesterdays movement back to 8.1 was after I had made another 50000 purchase, and that was shown 5.02, the trade took place at 13:37. wispa | wispaman
05/12/2007 21:34 | Probably plenty of 'distressed' holders as well. I wonder if anyone who bought into GEX for the 'long term' on Monday 19th December 2005, with gold about ~$500/oz, really thought that the share price, after all the drilling, JVs, first jorc and with gold ~$800/oz, would be pretty much the same 2 years on. Easy to see why its hard to be upbeat at present - which for the brave is usually a good time to buy. Have to wonder when this will bounce....and whether the bounce will signal the start of an up trend. As has been mentioned previously, some piece of mind is conferred by the fact that it doesn't appear to be company related. Fingers crossed. Lets hope we start getting regular drill results so we have something other than the share price to talk about. | ![]() serpicouk
05/12/2007 16:30 | 68k was a 'distressed' sell. I know and he is not happy with me. My distress he couldn't give a damn about. How many days did you say Bwana? Talk about fine tuning. I'm counting and it feels like the sand is running out. | ![]() valentine

28/11/2007 10:48 | No probs on the other lot robbi. Discussing tax issues on future profits last I heard. I am screwed here holding on. Need some news soon or something got to give. | ![]() valentine
28/11/2007 10:30 | val - hope all is well mate, I agree with Mabel, this market is giving me the jitters. It seems like all I do is wait for updates whilst the price drifts. When I do get decent updates in some of my other stocks the price drops, cant win! Our other stock is also making me a little worried due to the lack of news, I feel like the longer it goes on, the worse the news. I sincerely hope your right matey as we deserve to be rewarded for our saint like patience! | robbi123
28/11/2007 10:00 | GEX just seems to have slowly followed the market down gradually each day. There's been no sudden fall. Doubt it's anything to worry about long term. | ![]() maniac3 |
