There seems to be a seller in Toronto whose shares are being bought up and accumulated around the 6 cent mark. IF Courtney pulls off the mine financing then we could see a "rifle shot" here. Of course, until then, we remain in uncertainty. I took the opportunity of adding a few more shares at this lower price. It showed as a sell.

Ha, yes, well it definitely can of course. Shame the funding news didn't coincide with the spike.

The board clearly stated that there is money only till Q1 end. What happens afterwards....administration and a fire sale of the assets. That usually means shareholders get NOTHING.

Shares may suddenly get suspended at any price should the board be of a opinion that there is no equity left in the company. Happened to game group and it got sold with all the assets plus 1.5b ponds turnover business for one pound. Shares were trading a day before at 2.4p. Shareholders got ZERO out of administration and the company with the new owners is doing very well. I fully expect a similar outcome here. Only in because a deal may be reached so we get something back. IMO, DYOR

Doesnt surprise me. Fund managers have no special gift whatsoever. Courtney is a sharp operator and respected in the industry. He's already brought one mine into production. My bet is, he'll bring this one in too.

Well, personally I would have thought if they were down so much...i.e millions you would have thought that they would have stuck in there, particularly as there is a very reasonable chance that finance will be arranged. The mine metrics of Ollachea are too good to ignore.

After all once they had sold out there would be no way on earth that they could have recovered any or all of their investment. Plus of course they dumped their final holding at way below the market price. Seems to me they basically panicked.

Also, of course they have clearly never heard of a stop loss (well i'm sure they have heard of it, but were so arrogant that they didn't think it applied to them in this case). Pretty useless at money management in this case.

Strange really, considering they seem to be pretty good in most of their investment funds I think. Clearly, they havn't the faintest idea about gold mining stocks. Sorry to rant on but I just can't believe how stupid they were in this case. Two million quid down the swanny, oh well just a bad day (er year plus) in the office!!!

February must be sell month for them, at any price :)

Wow. A shocking investment. Strange to salvage so little. Presumably though they believe finance isn't coming rather than selling out of pure fear.

So for a stake costing £2.8 million pounds they end up losing approximately £2.0 million pounds!!!

Seems to me they should have been selling when they were buying....and buying when they were selling.

An excellent contrary indicator I feel!!

If anyone was worried that an Institution sold out, then I think you might like to take a look at this chart. I went back through the RNS'S to see when they bought their stake.

I am thinking all will be ok.

The project economics look robust and I feel confident remaining funding will be ok.

No finance in place equals to ZERO share price. It's as simple as that. The company will survive and carry on, but the current shareholders will be wiped out. Happens all the time. Surprising how many people don't understand that shareholders can easily be wiped out and yet business continue to prosperity. I've got 10% of my portfolio in MIRL, tough luck...
