Deciding when to exit is more difficult imo. Yes, often selling on good news or into a rise is wise but I have sold too early in many recently only to see the share price rise more. It is a strange market. We are seeing SPs getting slowly battered still but one or two individual stocks per day are doing 100% plus on news or even no news.

plus, always sell out on a good news day

trouble is with AIM, you generally don't get many of those.

That's why you have to try to pick these up when they are really low rather than when they start taking off. Granted, on a stock like this you might have bought in 5p plus thinking the bottom at been reached but doing this has served me well on many bombed out companies.

thats the trouble with AIM, when good news is leaked to the circle of trust, they stop you buying, and when there is bad news you can't sell £10 to save your life.

strange Dean, when it was 10p I managed 300000 without any problems, now you can get virtually nothing.

I don't hold anywhere near the 300000 now, stopped out when it fell back below 8p.

tried to add this morning, no luck, no more positions being taken with IG, only to close, either IG are upto their 3% limit, or the mkt cap is now too low.

That's the nature of the markets, hence why probably best to punt a small amount which can turn into a large amount if all goes well. However I do sense the worries here have been overblown. This is one I have been genuinely surprised with the accelerated way this has fallen.

We shall see.

if they get funding on decent terms, could easily do 400-500% in no time

or it could go to zero.

Who knows but imo the risk/reward is attractive shorter term.

Indeed it is. But that is what AIM is about.

This one is about a fundraise to finance a mine rather than one to necessarily save the company.

Looks like this could take off soon. Look at the chart. Relentless falls continuously and now the first time in ages it looks better.

Has the market seriously mis-priced these?

Things starting to pick up here? A risky stock like most others but I have been surprised with the extent of this fall.

I note that a discounted placing at 16p by AMA was snapped up instantly yesterday and appears (to me) to have been underpriced. There seems to be little confidence to date among the miners themselves that the currently improved cost and price background will be maintained into the medium and long term.
