I believe 122.5p is the highest closing share price since IPO
And mkt cap is around £53m

Could this recent activity be related to firming up deals and hearing exactly who arethe two big customers B and C ?

Lifted from Oakbloke earleir this year....

"Although separate entities, Customer B and Customer C operate under the same group and form one of the largest food, soft drink and snack manufacturers in the world. Following the achievement of global approved vendor status in November 2022, the Group recently advanced its commercial relationship with Customer B with the delivery of an initial 9.5 mT purchase order. (mT being metric tonnes I think)

Continuing monthly orders of 9.5 mT are expected, with a supporting purchasing agreement anticipated before the end of 2023.

Further line additions are then expected to follow in the first half of 2024 across multiple leading brands of Customer C"

Couldn't agree more. It's impossible to value the upside given this is the only company on planet earth that has the IP (patented) to solve this problem. Just what would the valuation be if they ended up in Walkers Crisps, or Pringles, or Tomato Ketchup, or frozen pizzas, or frozen ready meals, or Marmite.....Truly this is beyond exciting. And the market cap is tiny!

There wasn't a rise on the 8th?
I made a note on the 8th it ended 67.5p -1p.
I was able to top up twice on the first part of the morning of 9th on the Shares Magazine article, reported firstly at LSE then I posted the link here.
I firstly bought at 8.21am at 68.45p then 8.37am at 69.70p before it took off later that morning, afternoon

That was dated 9th May so the coincidence does not directly follow through given the rise began on the 8th.

I would still take the view that the trigger was the Issue Notice on the 8th and as such it was noticed by a third party causing the rise or the company made others aware of it prior to today's notification.

... However it is interesting to note that,



The most recent price rise began on 08/05/24 which is the date that the Issuance Notice was published but the PRN only arrived today.

There does seem to have been a degree of comment in respect of the recent rise and the reasons for it so I guess it is possible or likely that someone observant noticed the update on the USPTO page and got in early.

Otherwise it is possible that MicroSalt may have been a bit remiss in their reporting.

Note the use of American, month/day/year format so the Issue Notification was made on 8th of this month.

The last barrier for the approval of this one appears to have been an argument between the applicants and the examiner as to what was being claimed in respect of product adherence and the novelty around the discovery.

This relates to Microsalt's patent application No. 18/175,028, previously announced by the Company on 6 March 2024.



The Patent concerns the production of MicroSalt having claims directed to a low-sodium salt that adheres better to foods than a traditional salt that is not adhered to a carrier particle, and that is produced according to MicroSalt's claimed improved production process.

MicroSalt also owns a previously issued United States patent directed to its salt carrier product and production processes, and a United States provisional patent application directed to additional innovations.
