14/4/2019 18:20 | Well the Company's annual report is available to read on the website. While Suzzanne Moore, Polly Toynbee and Owen Jones would no doubt be thrilled, the stockholders should be concerned in particular by the 'risks' section (note those marked 'high') and the nonchalent platitudes of the Chairman's rather brief commentary. | longstaycarpark5
02/4/2019 11:30 | Yes they are good at mugging sellers, you can buy within the spread. Added a few more, which I try and do when it’s 1p, as I am tucking for a 3-5year hold | ny boy
28/3/2019 08:54 | Spread is 0.3p. 33% spread! | longstaycarpark5
27/3/2019 13:57 | Good buying opportunity @ 1p, some investors get this. See you at 2p + later this year | ny boy
18/3/2019 09:29 | Certainly has, it could be their year if every goes according to their strategy. A few sell for small gains but most, like the specialist hedge fund that took a large stake last summer buy and hold for a 10 year + strategy Tucked mine away now, bought more (SKIN) on the pull back to 2.1p dyor as usual | ny boy
18/3/2019 09:28 | hxxp://biometrics-te Looks like a chinese (or other foreign national) has a small setup in the US designed mostly to sell cheap chinese products into the US and sells through secondary distributors back into in China/Korea etc. I'm not sure it will do a lot - normally by the time two distributors have added their margins it becomes a bit too expensive. We used to do a lot of business in that region - we had one really good distributor in Korea (Younglin instruments) who OEM a piece of our kit on their instruments. They should try going to them directly - or to Donam - they are the two regional players for HPLC. | dr biotech
18/3/2019 08:39 | That has opened up some major new markets for the company. | knowing
18/3/2019 07:19 | Morning all A nice distribution agreement, into a fast growing global market, as MSYS said The Board believes that 2019 will be a year of significant growth in revenues, driven by the globally diverse partnerships signed in 2018, and the continued business development with new partners during 2019. Knowing... yes added a few more on the recent dip, I usually do so from time to time when the markets present opportunities,as I am accumulating these for a long term hold, eventually the share price will take off, no rush, you need plenty of patience and cash to put aside. 14/3/2019 09:40 | Sympathise with the CEO who is building out a channel but the interviewer is really insipid. Limp questioning. Problem with distributors is that they seldom know how to sell and really just specialise in holding stock and taking orders for establish products. Generally not great at a complex sales process such as for a new product. I wonder should this company be private since the public markets might be harming its prospects. | longstaycarpark5
13/3/2019 16:02 | NY B if you are going to buy more there is only 10K available | knowing
13/3/2019 08:53 | That’s a very soft interview. He talks about a top of the range ms being 3-500k. Most decent ones are around 200k and for that you get a lot more ( ie MS/MS capabilities which is often essential for identification). You can pick up a single quad (or a second hand one) for well under 100k. Still not cheap of course. Deal in China may be interesting, we did a lot there with a small distributor based in Shantou, a city of 5m that most have never heard of. You don’t need a PHD to run the MS either. Whilst the instruments are complex and you need a proper engineer to service it, the person that runs it just needs to be able to use the PC. Mass hunter (Agilent) software is pretty easy and most can get a reasonable understanding in a couple of days. As for the bigger picture the operating costs are eye watering. They would need to sell 10 times what they are now just to break even. I can’t see them doing that in 2 years. So whilst I’ll continue to watch I’m not going to buy for now. | dr biotech
12/3/2019 11:02 | Well done guys, thanks for the update, it’s down as a 2-5 year hold for me, let’s see how we go forward this year. | ny boy
12/3/2019 08:31 | I disagree with Parsons. I also attended and liked the level of detail. Glen was very good at answering all the questions and something I will continue to follow. | paulfred1
12/3/2019 08:30 | Thanks Nobby, good to meet you last night. | parsons4
12/3/2019 08:01 | I tend to agree with parsons, although there are some positives. The company is very well funded and they did a good job raising so much in the fundraising last year. Plus the II shareholders list is quite impressive and the largest shareholder put more money in. Glen stated that there is no intention to raise any more money as a result and from the figures they have at least 2 year's money. In the Aim casino where any whiff of fund raising is punished, this has to be a plus. So it's all about how quickly they can ramp up sales, which is very difficult to determine. They do have both Pharma and academic customers although they weren't going to tell us the exact breakdown. The medium term aspiration is to get the machine into being a fundamental part of the process for production of biologicals such as monoclonal antibodies. Part of the selling point is that both small molecule input into the process and the protein produced in the process can be measured simultaneously. However, it is difficult to predict how successful this aspiration will be..... So overall a hold for me.....although with the big movements it could also be seen as a punting shareon the hope that there is a spike if/when they sign further distributors or routes to market. All IMHO Nobby | nobbygnome
12/3/2019 07:32 | Yes I attended. I was not that impressed with what I learned. There were others there who had a better understanding of the products and markets that MSYS are in. They are looking to more than double turnover this year but currently have net outgoings of £200k per month. They have 28 employees and a monthly salary bill of about £130k. All employees have share options including the cleaners (which is a positive). But my biggest criticism is that Glen just didn't seem to have any UMPHHH !!!! if you know what I mean. He didn't sell a WOW factor for their products, just that they were concentrating on getting more agents worldwide to sell their products. I came away not at all excited about the future, I am very sorry to say. GLA | parsons4
12/3/2019 00:22 | Still fairly illiquid, did anyone attend the event? | ny boy

11/3/2019 20:03 | Company should waste less energy tweeting its virtue on international womens day and divert it to selling. Lol. | longstaycarpark5
11/3/2019 15:35 | Biotech, I might be going to the investors presentation tonight. Any questions that you want asking? Kk | k1ngkonggb |
