They've spent £30m odd but not got any commercial traction to show for it. Why would anybody pay up rather than buy it off administrators ? They could just do a placing to limp on ?

Well they put themselves up for sale a couple of months back and share price hasn’t moved hardly since, 35% up tells me there’s a leak, maybe something tomorrow let’s hope it’s like COS and gets a bid treble the price they were!

This video popped up on my Research tree dashboard earlier today. So they are still getting on with new launches, despite the distractions of the Strategic Review, which all things considered is probably a good sign. https://www.brrmedia.co.uk/broadcasts/5f4fd065b14d87262643e460/microsaic-systems-4500-mid

When a company puts itself for sale it's officially in "bid talks" so every time a market maker buys or sells stock and it's holding position changes they have to alert the market even if it's just a few hundred pounds difference So they are pointless Rns's

What are all 8.5 and 8.3 disclosure forms? Are they just disclosing an interest, buying/selling on a private market or is it for tax purposes because it’s going bust. Any layman explanation welcome. I’m thinking it’s just another way to screw PI’s and call it legal.

Are you topinfo csm He posted the exact same garbage on his twitter or did you copy it. How posting other examples where stocks put themselves up for sale and were sold for next to nothing or did not get bought at all.

Search COS ticker, just hap 6.5p per share bid, was just over 2p at 2pm that’s what this could do.

I don’t know Dave 56 to 100 is a nice earner, the volume is starting to pick up and test that .60 number hit 1.3 in July

That's fair enough. I was looking too but I believe the current spread is around 0.44-0.56p It's hardly making it worth the risk ? You are going to need a good 20-30% rise just to get into profit or barely break evens

Just come across this, interesting, big spread, put itself up for sale, climbed to 1p on news then has just drifted all the way back to start, may have a flutter here tomorrow, can see another RNS shortly sending it back up to the 1p mark, all imho dyor

Spread 36.36%! Talk about kicking s/h when they're down! One day I will be on the right side of these shenanigans (maybe) lol. GLA.

It was on the leaderboard and that sucked in the punters.

Back to half of the spike. So it gets to 0.8-1p people pile in, it drops to 0.5p and it's dead That's the market these days

Have to agree with you here Longstay. Mind you, we can but hope (not for me as I sold out my majority above 1p) that it does get some legs on it above 1p!

The shareholders are merely stating their holdings. They are not bidding and have already said no reinvestment according to company rns. This is retail speculation. They see it on leaderboard and pile in hundred pound punts. Industry buyer wont pay £4m, it would have done so by now. This will go back to cash value.

Must admit I never saw that coming ! Weird how these shares go and do 100% We all knew they were running out of cash and still losing 1-2 mil a year, so in "desperation" they put themselves up for sale and the price rises nearly 150% from the initial lows.

Awesome stupidity on the LSE board. LOL! Glad someone else thinks so! Stunning to hear people suggest that long term IIs were new bidders without stopping to wonder just how anyone could acquire such large stakes within a trading day! I suspect they were deliberately misleading to ramp it up!

A form 8.3 doesn't mean their is a bid imminent from whoever. It simply is an obligatory shareholder statement of ownership under the mergers code.

Awesome stupidity on the LSE board. They don't have 160 patents, just because it was posted elsewhere doesn't make it true, they have 60. Its like the rampers who posted about phoney oil strikes here (oilbell on PVR). This has been cheap for some time - why didn't a major MS business make a move by now? Because they know better I suppose.

Maybe some sellers got mugged yesterday? Anyway, will check back in Q4 to see how the land lies then.
