Seen the volume today? Someone buying a large slug and paying well over market price - just a few weeks ahead of the results too.

Any idea who might be so keen?

interim results in 3 or 4 weeks' time.

last year they issued an IMS on 7th july too...will be interesting to see if they issue one next week and whether they refer to caution about macro-economic uncertainty as they did in the last IMS in april...otherwise they said there was no fundamental change in the business performance

Profitability of FS is over twice that of MA.
If FS is flat based on exceptionals and there are deferred contracts in FS (that they are confident will come through)then MA has to run twice as fast to keep up growth.
Can't see any other negatives based on a first read through.
Market may be disappointed in the lack of news about a special dividend.
I shall hold, but do not expect fireworks.

I must admit I hadnt seen much caution in them! No Debt... Increased cash good sales pipeline new products etc

I would hope it should break through the previous high at 180 or so and lets see what the results say on the 27th of Feb this month to see what the future looks like.

They have new software out also if you look at the news articles so overall still an ongoing positive outlook imo
