28/4/2021 09:06 | about time this went on a bit of a rally. Even sr2day is quietly waiting for it lol | jw330
28/4/2021 08:49 | See Microsoft good numbers last night. Seems like a hot sector atm. The read across to mcro looks promising with digital acceleration in full flow. But mcro is a recovery play more than anything. It's a good, highly cash generative business, in the right sector paying a 25p divi (anticipated) for 2021, and under new management. In fact, I see some of mcro's component parts being worth more than the company as it stands. Anyway, just too much cash to buy cheaply. And the market only cares about cash generation and the rate of such... Roch | rochdae
28/4/2021 08:29 | I added at 512p this morning. I cannot see it going under 500p and when it moves up it will move fast. Fully locked and loaded now for the trading update which IMO will be good. | purchaseatthetop
27/4/2021 18:19 | I guess it would be rude not visit the sma50 whilst we are down here. Get ready for a possible top up under £5 for the last time in the next few days of trading! | gurunostradamus
26/4/2021 16:25 | Ps. the irony (and perhaps the opportunity) is that if the float is successful SUSE will have a higher market cap than MCRO (which in a sense is quite incredible)! ;-) | dr knowledge
26/4/2021 16:18 | Gerardp - yes, the sale of SUSE has been touted for some time now, so no real surprise but hopefully lessons to be learnt from MCRO's new management. The only good takeaway from a MCRO perspective are these immortal words form the same article "under-pressure bosses should put more effort into retaining some upside when dispensing with castoffs". - which is precisely what they are finally doing now! ;-) | dr knowledge
26/4/2021 15:04 | seeking alpha article both fair and well reasoned. the next update provides ultimate clarification on several of the points mentioned and a catalyst towards £8, one hopes :) | stoxx67
26/4/2021 07:57 | Anyone else notice that £500,000.00 trade post close on Friday? No doubt helped us bounce off the bottom of the upwards trend channel & should augur well for this week. ;-) | dr knowledge
25/4/2021 19:38 | jw330 - update on or around 19/5/21 like last year | purchaseatthetop
23/4/2021 21:56 | when exactly is the update? I've had a look on their investor relations bit couldn't find it | jw330
23/4/2021 09:44 | Excellent (and balanced) article - shame they didn't cover AWS/Amazon and our other new cloud based partnerships but none the less -thanks for sharing. ;-) | dr knowledge
23/4/2021 09:16 | Not sure if you guys can read this. | mo123
22/4/2021 19:32 | I might sell some when it hits 530 to buy back in at 505. :) The update is a while away, we need another RNS to prop up the share price until then. Another thing I didn't like from the results was none of the divisions seemed to be making decent progress, nothing was growing. Medium term it must be a numbers game, they have 500 products so some must actually do well. | planit2
22/4/2021 19:14 | that recovery turned out very well. Onwards and upwards I reckon. | purchaseatthetop
22/4/2021 14:43 | only matter of time before markets catch up to this share. Good things come to those who wait. | jw330
22/4/2021 14:29 | More good news .. | rochdae
22/4/2021 13:03 | I am happy with my foolish top up at 505p. Now on the upswing. Looking just like rochdale for good figures showing the right direction. Massively undervalued. | purchaseatthetop
22/4/2021 10:32 | There must be a 300/400% discount to peers with mcro. Crazy. | rochdae
22/4/2021 10:29 | An acceleration in fcf and an increase in the divi also likely. Back to 50/60p soon enough. Fantastic yield to look forward to along with capital growth.... passive income they call it :) | rochdae
22/4/2021 10:18 | In the next trading statement I'm hoping for a return to annual guidance. It was dropped last year due to Covid, but they can't use that excuse again this year, so we'll have a view of the next 6 month, not just the last 6. Yes, results from SAP and IBM are encouraging as they suggest a sector surge in big data/cloud and AI provision. This should cut across to Micro's offerings. Another 2-300 million off debt likely. All the main parts of mcro's business were showing promising sign in the prelims. AMC in particular should be back to full orders. Margins where 41% in H2 last year. We could see 42% in H1 this year. That would compare to 38% for 2020. A 4% increase would go down well. Anyway, there are many more positives to mention, but I think management will want to make the trading statement as bullish as possible. On top we have the AWS and snowflakes tie ups. Covid was a drag last year, it could lead to hidden benefits this time round. Roch | rochdae
22/4/2021 10:14 | he is a troll. | sr2day
