Hmmm, so a poster who thinks the share price "could" go to 475, 460 etc near term, buys at 506 (I'll get my coat). ;-)

Meanwhile back on earth, on the back of IBM reporting increased revenues in its cloud operations this week (the catalyst for returning the business to growth for the 1st time in years), SAP today announce the same in its quarterly update. Evidence (if ever it was ever needed) that short term share price fluctuations here (especially intra-day which are meaningless for all but day traders) is nothing but noise. ;-)

Well hindsight has shown that I was right to top slice - didn't quite get the top but has meant I have been able to buy back cheaper. Often pays to be a contrarian on these boards lol

Price volatility an irrelevance to me. I buy the dips and hang on. Either it's a good growing company or it isn't. I've decided the former. Price prediction in the short term just makes you part of the system which then becomes self-fulfilling.

But each to their own. Facts reset value and then the algorithms take over. So either anticipate the facts or design a superior trading algorithm.

I screwed up and sold loads on the way up at 512 as I was convinced it would bounce under 500p.
Bought them back at 517p yesterday so this drop was good for me and will add more if it goes under 500p. This share is sentiment driven and we still have a month before the update PATT mentioned.

sr2day, are you waiting to buy back in and if so what price will you buy at?
Be good to know rather than just winding everyone up. :)

"it may well", "it might", "it just possibly could" - yes indeed! ;-)
Ps. always best to wait for the closing share price at end of day before getting excited. The intra day can be volatile and no-one really wants to end up with egg on their face (unless of course they missed a very big boat on an upwards cruise).!! :-)

sr2day....you may be right. But it does not matter. My largest three shareholdings are ITX, AGL and ENET. MCRO is now a relative sideshow. I hope it returns to the West End soon.

Happily as posters here know, I started buying MCRO last year at 218p (where my major buys were). Have bought many times since and will continue buying (even if I do not hit the bottom of every dip) because the long term value is immense. All IMO only and do not believe a word I write.

I added this morning at 516p. That is a ridiculous price for this stock IMO. Must rise now.

Good call Lowtrader. Yes we got hammered yesterday. A good shoeing. Never mind. Trading update 19/5/21 and we will be flying again (IMO). See Guru's message 10969. Everything Cloud, AI and analytics is roaring.

Gosh! I was going to invest my paltry dividend of many thousands of pounds based on the upbeat comments herein predicting a rise to £10 soon.
Then I got carried away with a project completion, I was so busy doing it that I failed to invest. There I was convinced I'd missed the boat. But. MCRO went down 21p?
Never mind, more to buy tomorrow.

The only thing that matters is the new trading update around 19/5/21. That determines everything. Not long to go. I expect a solid rise before hand. GLA.
