2005 FIRST QUARTER TRADING UPDATE

Michael Page International plc, the specialist recruitment consultancy, reports
2005 first quarter revenues (gross profit) of #59.8m, an increase of 24.3% over
the #48.1m recorded in the first quarter of 2004.

In the UK, first quarter revenues were 17.1% up on the first quarter of 2004.

In Continental Europe, first quarter revenues were 30.9% up on the first quarter
of 2004.

In Asia Pacific, first quarter revenues were 26.7% up on the first quarter of
2004.

In The Americas, first quarter revenues were 74.8% up on the first quarter of
2004.

During the first quarter the Group repurchased 1.85m shares at an average price
of 195p.

Commenting on the first quarter result, Chief Executive Terry Benson said:

"All our geographic regions continued to show good growth in the first quarter
and the outlook for the group remains encouraging."

I have been stuck in the snow most of today so have not had the time to set out an analysis of todays results ,(see above)

For those who don't have the time or the inclination to look through all the figures but are interested in what the see and read in the info set out above I will post my findings tonight or tomorrow morning .

What I can say now is that this stock must be one of the best ways IMHO of obtaining a geared return if you have the view that 2005 will be anothrer year of good \strong global economic growth and want to back that judgement .

If you don't have such a view then read no further because you are probably looking at the wrong stock

Oh dear, I have ended up long MPI, more through accident than design, having been filled @ 175.5 Bit risky that. Hope tomorrow's statement isn't too bad.

No not now, took profits yesterday at 186, in hindsite ( and luck) a wise move,will be unpredictable with news today and the trading statement due out soon, could go either way. I am leaving alone for a while, looking for something else to have a go at.IMHO DYOR of course.

Well, thats two of us got faith in MPI ( 100% on the vote to recommend a buy (sentiment vote)Broke the resitance at 180, lets see if it will confirm that over the next few days.
IMHO DYOR etc.

Just gone in at 176, looking at resistance of around 183 nice cycle to it, watched for a few days, should have gone in yesterday.

Looking good, I took some profits the other day at around £1.735p, just taken a few more at £1.76p, will let the rest ride with a limit order to sell if these drop below £1.7475p. Lovely trading share.

2004 THIRD QUARTER TRADING UPDATE


Michael Page International plc, the specialist recruitment consultancy, reports
third quarter revenues (gross profit) of #53.5m, an increase of 19.0% over the
#45.0m recorded in the third quarter of 2003.

In the UK, third quarter revenues were 21.9% up on the third quarter of 2003.

In Continental Europe, third quarter revenues were 8.1% up on the third quarter
of 2003.

In Asia Pacific, third quarter revenues were 21.6% up on the third quarter of
2003.

In The Americas, third quarter revenues were 60.6% up on the third quarter of
2003.

Commenting on the third quarter result, Chief Executive Terry Benson said:

"Our businesses in the United Kingdom, Asia Pacific and The Americas continue to
perform well. Market conditions in Continental Europe, although challenging,
have improved. Overall we remain confident of our prospects for the remainder of
the year."
