08/12/2001 00:42 | Still inching up nicely - really banging on the ceiling of the resistance at about 176 | zzaxx99
07/12/2001 13:44 | Yup, seems to be some big trades going thru but I feel will now hovver here for a few weeks/months.....I see 180/185 as a big target to prove it has gone thru resisitance point, if and when that happenned as I have said b4 at least 250 next year and 300 plus in 12 months IMHO! 03/12/2001 17:12 | Christ Big ? trades (over 1.1m) at 1.69 this afternoon....this is between B/O (168/170) so is it buy or sell!!?? Any ideas of what they are....? If it is buy should hit that 1.75 mark soon as others will surely follow, if sell I can see it see sawing at around 1.60ish for a while..... IMHO Dan | cambridge dan
03/12/2001 07:38 | Hmm - big disposal of stock here - if it's over, maybe this will let the price progress a bit - or act as a cue for a mass sell-off! (but still hold 26,011,235) | zzaxx99
30/11/2001 08:14 | Thanks, It's obviously much less clear to me now...... ;) Dan | cambridge dan
30/11/2001 00:42 | Why do you think it will peak at 180? | zzaxx99
30/11/2001 00:02 | Will peak at around 180ish until middle of next year but my target is 250+ for june/july. | cambridge dan
29/11/2001 16:59 | Cam Dan We've all been there once so no need to apologise... the ? trades today all appear to be sells......with any ? trade(on this or any stock) look at the time of the trade and the price it went thru at - this is critical as if you refer to the price at the time of the trade it will usually confirm it was at/near the bid or offer(in this case all at or near bid hence sells). You may often see a 'L' trade(late reported) with the MM's deliberately trying to mislead traders/shareholders into buying/selling (depending on whether the MM is trying to offload stock or buy in).....there is a lot to learn! Good Luck Chris | chris jones
29/11/2001 16:43 | OK I am a bit of a novice to this game I admit, but is there any way of telling if the trades that are '?' are buys or sells (as presumably with over 1.2m today this will affect price?)...if not when do you get to find out??? Apologies for my obvious naievety. Dan | cambridge dan
29/11/2001 13:49 | around that mark as alot of sells after reaches just over offer price (175) and will struggle to get above that in short term, although I do believe it is worth 250 by mid 2002... | cambridge dan
28/11/2001 16:44 | Nice little rise today after a couple of drifty days. Getting towards the significant bit - if it can beat resistance at 175ish and close that gap down from July we could be off & running. | zzaxx99
22/11/2001 15:19 | go on, my son | cat
21/11/2001 13:28 | still edging up | cat
20/11/2001 19:30 | Scrip : As pointed out in this months Small Company Sharewatch , by the time you can see the improvement in the sector then the bird will have flown (or something like that). Be a contrarian :-) Dil | dil
20/11/2001 10:49 | I'm currently using them to recruit so I will have some direct evidence, albeit small, to put into the thread. | scripophilist
20/11/2001 10:47 | Interesting trades from this one today - price got knocked down a bit with a 200K sale, followed by a lot of smaller ones, then wooosh - 450K M trade, and we're back on track again. One of the few on my immediate watch list that's risen today. Getting very tempted. This comment from on the FBB thread was pretty interesting as well: globaltraderix2 - 16 Aug'01 - 08:35 - 13 of 14 Used to work for these guys. The company knows how to make money and will be worth investing in at the right time due to its brand name and its ability to deliver earnings growth. The directors and senior managers are strongly incentivised to deliver growth(40 million quids worth of share options) Within the economic cyle the timing is not yet right. When the states starts to recover in the last quarter of this year or more likely in the first quarter of next year then will be worth getting in for the long haul. imho dyor | zzaxx99
19/11/2001 15:17 | On a few stocks (only a few), I'm just begining to trade what I'm seeing in spite of similar reservations. Direction of least resistance is up - for now. | cat
19/11/2001 15:01 | I agree with Ebiz the prospects for this sector don't look hot at the moment. | scripophilist
19/11/2001 15:01 | Still, the market can remain irrational for long periods of time. | scripophilist
19/11/2001 14:47 | I've been watching this one too. I'm sceptical. In my opinion the rise is because their business is heavily telco/Hitec skewed and as these companies shares recover MPI go with them. However, I see no recovery at all in employment prospects and mountains of anecdotal evidence seems to support this. We shall see, but I do agree they do seem to have lots of short term momentum. | ebiz
19/11/2001 14:38 | looks bloody interesting. If it holds above 150's for long, could put a big whooooosh on towards the £2 level. | cat

16/11/2001 17:52 | Just spotted this one - anyone know what's put a rocket up it? Had a golden cross of 10/20 EMAs, buy signals from Stochastics and MACD. Resistance just above this level at 150p, then nothing until 180p At the moment, ny interest is purely from the chart - any fundamental reasons to be interested? | zzaxx99 |
