U.S. mortgage lenders rattle markets
February 09, 2007
Economics, NEWSwax ... By Mike LaSalle

After years of smooth sailing, the banking industry ran into stiff headwinds Thursday when the two biggest U.S. mortgage lenders to high-risk home buyers warned that costs from delinquent loans were swelling faster than they had expected.

Apologies, late in this morning and forgot to snaffle, so did everyone else by the look of it. Unless you count 43 shares as a snaffle

Market makers are generally short of stock, might be quite amusing if we all snaffle a few at the same time. Say 9.30am monday morning ?

Visibility of future earnings gives a lot of confidence. 30p plus eps is in the bag for last year, this years forecast of 34p looks rather low, I can see it getting smashed. They were only forecasting 25p for last year before the upgrades.

Institutions wouldn't bother with a co this size unless they can see a major increase 50-100%. So £6-£8.

Major institutional backing for the first time for Metnor. There has been more volume this month than the rest of the decade put together, look at the chart below!
