Back for a guest appearance.Dissapointed slightly with turnover although full year will be ok.This is what I heard that Norstead had lost work.Development side will need to work through for further growth.Like they say on the DD I am out at this stage.

What is going on with these market makers. It would appear that the purchase of 1000 shares increases the value of the company by 1.6% or about £6m.

I don't think you have Volvo, whatever you have said could just be taken as blatant ramping. Good move up this morning though. Approximately 3 or 4% of the company changed hands yesterday,which must be good for the market in these things.

Corrosion protection addition for H&S

Hill & Smith Holdings is set to grow further with the US$18.8 million acquisition of the Metnor Group's galvanising arm. This deal was first announced in February of this year, subject to regulatory approval from the authorities, which has now been given. Hill & Smith is now carrying out its due diligence procedures fo Metnor Galvanising. The acquisition will bring Hill & Smith one of the UK's largest galvanising baths along with a well-equipped facility at Chesterfield in Derbyshire. This addition will allow Hill & Smith to increase its ability to provide corrosion protection for its safety barriers and street lighting products for which the company is a leading producer.
