This deal was first announced in February of this year, subject to regulatory approval from the authorities, which has now been given. Hill & Smith is now carrying out its due diligence procedures fo Metnor Galvanising. The acquisition will bring Hill & Smith one of the UK's largest galvanising baths along with a well-equipped facility at Chesterfield in Derbyshire.
