Could be a risky bounce trade. But something triggered the drop. Have until 31st to sort out finances?

Seller/Buyer

Have seen this before with other companies, a large holder wants to sell, a price is agreed with a buyer (possibly a broker) and they trade it through the market. Looks like .50p is the price.

When the transaction is completed it goes back up, will see soon enough, but the buys/sells seem matched.

If it was related to the debt surely a early morning RNS would have occurred.

The longer there is no RNS the more likely this is what is going on.

The interesting aspect is they are not seeking more cash (as far as I understand it) but simply re-structure the existing debt, if the banks do not co-operate they will be the main losers.

Operationally they have been performing OK over recent quarters, very strange that this is occurring now IMO.

Is the fall down to poor markets or something more sinister?

Looks like this could be the last rites however one can never tell, they were advanced $6.6m by the major shareholders in late November with a proviso that the debt restructure had to be completed by 31st December or they would be in default.

There is no way they have burnt through that so quickly.

If there is bad news ahead there is clearly insider trading going on here, of course it could be an old fashioned bear raid.

They will be forced to RNS due to the share price movement shortly, if there is a 'no reason for the fall' type RNS it could bounce back IMO.

Very high risk, was always a punt.

The last 2 years' RNSs.

Looks like either a placing on the way or it's going bust.

Glad I exited @ 3.3p.

There is not long to wait now for a conclusion here, the backstop date is set at 31st December and I do expect them to re-finance, if so that will be a major win for the long suffering shareholders.

It is interesting to note the two major shareholders continue to support the company, that is good news.

Only 14% of the shares are in free float.

Not a bad risk reward bet IMO.

Wouldn't surprise me at if a placing was part of the refinancing. If refinancing ever happens.

B_A yes, that is when I first bought in. I have bought twice since to average down,
I usually don't like doing that. It is the BIOX circuit that has given them big problems. I am sure they will succeed in sorting that and the debit restructuring.
Well at least I hope they do.
The share price has taken a bit of a turn on the upwards, just have to wait for news.
I managed to bag some below 2P. I will hold on until news now.

There are a few buyers around over recent sessions, news on the debt talks can come at anytime, if they can restructure combined with the improved gold production performance there is a catalyst for a major re-rate here.

There was a £60,000 director buy in April at 3.75p if I recall.
