Debts here roughly equal market cap.

They have had to postpone some payments recently on the debts as they can't afford to pay.

This is a classic busted flush.

SELL.

Debts will kill this company.

Shocking balance sheet.

Will be bust by year end.

Get out while you can.

Well i can understand that.
but this was always a gamble on these next quarters results.
They have to get it right sooner or later, but we are at the later stage now.

More of a precaution, if the ops update is good I can buy back in albeit at a premium to the current share price

If it's bad I'm already out.

I cant under stand your thinking bailing on that RNS.
HSBC have agreed to waiver the payment again until the end of july.
As say the company said. "The Company is in discussions with financial lenders to restructure the Group debt facilities".
As you know it takes many months to restructure a debt facility. They seem from what they are saying, that they are restructuring there debt with other lenders, not HSBC.
The agreement they have with HSBC is not suitable for a start up company,this they have said in the past. It would have been fine if they had not had so many problems over the last year.They could have made a good profit this quarter (we will find out soon)But they need this money to get the bank balance in a much healthier position, not spending it all on paying off some of the loans. If this was to happen they would be playing catch up for a year and struggling to get a healthy bank balance.
But one thing is sure here, if they are still having problems in the last quarter the share price will take a hit.

i Now have a largish holding in AAZ.
I read up on them after jailbird mentioned them a while ago.
Funny thing is he does not seem to post over there.
But thank you jailbird for the heads up on that one.
I also hold hummingbird and vast. All money makers.

Achilles, just a thought, but I wonder whether the £6-7m difference between the short term major shareholder loans (£14m) and the mezzanine funding (£21m), that was designed to cover it, could possibly provide access to £5m (equivalent to 3800oz).

O/T.
Jailbird, I have a reasonable holding in AAZ. I did a top up there this morning.
They had the AGM today. Just holding on here, maybe I will get my money back or not. Not holding a large amount here.

I was expecting news of a restructure of the debt from how the previous RNS was phrased.

From 20/4/2018 RNS:
-- Capital payment due to senior lenders on 29 December 2017 and 29 March 2018 totalling of US $12.96 million have been agreed to be deferred until 30 June 2018;

-- The Company is in discussions with financial lenders to restructure the Group debt facilities;

I'm out.

The Co cannot service their debts , hence repeat waivering of payments.The rates are extortionate too... this is because the lenders view them extremely high risk !The debt is just growing every day
