28/5/2018 19:14 | Eight posts today on a share he has no interest in, all with a nasty undertone I might add, clearly a very disturbed individual. | fatnacker
28/5/2018 17:01 | tombarr yes you could be right. | peterpowell21
28/5/2018 15:09 | My thinking was that if CC was going to make a bid his directors would have to recuse themselves as conflicted anyway. Maybe I am off target there? | tombarr
28/5/2018 13:17 | SAGE Do you not think they would have left the two NED in place if they were really going to make another bid. But i do agree that a re-rate is going to start very soon. profitable times ahead. | peterpowell21
28/5/2018 13:02 | The Candy director resignations suggest to me something is up, why not make another bid and take the lot private now it seems operations have improved significantly. If there is a bid it will need to happen quickly as I suspect the market will start to re-rate this ahead of the AGM on 19th June. Interesting times. | the_sage1
28/5/2018 11:06 | Fatty You are good at playing the victim. lol. | peterpowell21
28/5/2018 09:52 | well obviously. | fatnacker
28/5/2018 09:33 | On another note. the said person who posted above about me is one of the two posters i refer to in that post. the other is, yes highasakite. | peterpowell21
28/5/2018 09:30 | Tombarr Yes he has lent short term to MTL at high interest. But that was much better than having a discount placing. After all these loans have been paid back now. So well done the candy's. As for him having to be supportive. Well when you try and takeover the lot at 13p he must see plenty of value in this project. And lets face it, he has managed it increase his holding after discounted placings. As for him making a move to take the lot again. Not happening. There is talk of him sell some of his holding, and a road show to ii's. Looks like he wants to take some profit of the table to me. AIMO. | peterpowell21
28/5/2018 08:24 | Is it possible that Candy has already started to make his move - hence his directors leaving? He's only been supportive because he has had to be and has rammed it up MTL on interest rates along the way. | tombarr
28/5/2018 07:56 | It is poised to be taken out IMO, ironic that BOTH Candy directors have left the BOD at the same time as operational performance has improved to near optimum level. Shareholders can expect another attempt by Candy to takeover MTL in my considered opinion, the last attempt at 13p a share failed but 2nd time around it may just succeed. | the_sage1
28/5/2018 07:17 | That all in cost of sub $500 an ounce is one of the lowest in the industry. You can see that sooner or later this will be the money cow most of us know it to be. The timing of the city road show is also timed for the news that the BIOX treatment plant is now working fully up to speed. Even at a all in cost of $500 an ounce it should throw out a profit of around $80m a year for ten years at least. This will also now mean we will be able to to start up the exploration. And as we know there is enormous potential there. Its been a long wait but averaging down on the dips will show its been worth the wait. I do hope and expect the candys to make a nice profit on what they sell, as they have supported the company for many years.Apart from that the more they sell for the better for us PI's. I do hope it stays independent as i see this as a very good long term investment. | peterpowell21
27/5/2018 22:48 | I am expecting this to breakout strongly to the upside around the time of the AGM in mid June, it is clear there are significant operational improvements hence increasing gold production. | the_sage1
27/5/2018 19:02 | "Cash and cash equivalents of GBP0.537 million at 31 December 2017;" What price the next placing guys ? | highasakite
27/5/2018 19:02 | Repetition | highasakite
27/5/2018 18:50 | Repetition. | tombarr
27/5/2018 15:54 | I have been taking a look at Hummingbird. They look a interesting company, doing well. But with a market cap of almost double this, i think this is the better bet. We have not really got going yet, but hopefully that has now started to change. | peterpowell21
27/5/2018 15:42 | Roadshow coming soon & buy rating My reckoning is that the current quarter will see the production of 20,000 oz plus of gold. That should be confirmed on 22 June when the company has promised a full presentation at the AGM and will embark on a City road show under the auspices of broker, Canaccord. | the_sage1
26/5/2018 11:03 | That's the difference between MTL and VOG "The fact here is when they do get the gold out the ground they have buyers for it. They have gas but there is only a very small market to sell it to." | sleveen |
