26/3/2014 18:42 | Thank goodness we all feel the same way. The only drawback appears to be liquidity but then who cares if the mine goes on for twenty years and we receive a healthy divi! | holism
25/3/2014 13:29 | IMO 8-9p as soon as the funding is confirmed. 15-20p this time next year if we get to the first gold pour. My target is 25-30p depending on the performance of gold. . And if it all comes off I'll be very happy | rupert1
24/3/2014 16:28 | Wow, that is a chunky trade 32.9M for circa £2M.........GL S | swizz
23/3/2014 21:49 | holism, fingers crossed, IMHO I don't see a share price of circa 12p being to difficult a task in 12 months, taking into account the expected news flow and asset potential........GL S | swizz
22/3/2014 07:24 | Looking good at last swizz I remember my broker telling me to expect a return of 40% pa when the share price was 10p. He could be right. | holism

13/3/2014 16:55 | Holzberger is a top man, this is a well run company with low production costs and a 10 year mine life of 95koz per annum. If I had some spare cash.... | holism
11/3/2014 09:11 | The mkt also appears to have a seller in the background, so with the renewed interest it will hopefully clear any back log........GL S | swizz
11/3/2014 09:00 | As soon as they can confirm the finance deal, we are in business here. The Gold price chart is showing positive signs, just at the right time. It looks like we have a few new investors this morning on the back of this, which is good news. | rupert1
11/3/2014 07:08 | On track and in budget for Q4 production and debt finance DD nearing completion....GL S Ian Holzberger, Executive Chairman, commented: "Metals Exploration continues to make good progress on the construction of the Runruno gold project. As at 31 January, the Project was 46% complete and importantly remains on track and within budget to support the objective of commencing commissioning Q4 2014. A key component in this is to finalise the US$70 million debt facility required to conclude the remaining financing requirements. I am pleased to report that banking due diligence workflows are progressing satisfactorily and nearing completion. At site, mining activities have begun from within the pit outline and over the next nine months will fully expose the ore body in readiness for production. The on-site infrastructure is now fully operational to support the processing plant and residual storage construction activities and it is pleasing to begin taking delivery of the mechanical equipment to be used in the processing plant." 03/3/2014 13:59 | Looking at the updated website pictures, the main plant has not started construction yet. I imagine they are holding fire until the funding is in place and wisely so. However I would not be surprised to see a further delay in the date of the first gold pour when the funding announcement is made. With average production cost of only $442 per ounce (i.e. $900 margin on current price), 101,000 ounce p.a. average production over the first 5 years, 62% of the capex already raised in equity and only $70m sought in funding, you would think it is an attractive proposition. Let's hope the management team are driving a tough bargain for the shareholders. | rupert1
03/3/2014 09:46 | Indeed I do hope so. | holism
03/3/2014 09:09 | With the writ dismissed, you would hope the next bit of news in the weeks ahead will be the debt funding plan secured?.......GL S | swizz
03/3/2014 08:59 | Writ dismissed for a second time!.....GL S Mr. Ian Holzberger, Chairman of the Company commented "this is the second time in two years FCF Minerals Corporation has defended itself against a Writ of Kalikasan and we are very happy with the rulings of the Court Of Appeals in Manila. The Company prides itself as a responsible miner and recognizes completely its obligations to the environment as dictated in its Financial and Technical Assistance Agreement (FTAA). We have an obligation to protect and rehabilitate that part of the contract area of the FTAA which FCF will utilize in its mining operations. FCF chooses to rehabilitate on a continuing basis and as quickly as possible, working closely with the responsible authorities, in particular the Mines and Geosciences Bureau to uphold and deliver our obligations. In closing I reiterate my statement on the previous ruling "FCF will always vigorously defend its position as a leader in observing environmental laws and obligations. This lawsuit was vexatious and devious from its inception but FCF, together with the DENR, MGB and NCIP were resolute in defending its entitlement to mine in the contract area provided it in its Financial or Technical Assistance Agreement with the Philippine government. Our focus had been marginally diverted whilst we sought to dismiss these writs and now we have successfully achieved this we can continue the important work of putting Runruno into production, and always mindful of our duty of care to the environment as we progress". 21/2/2014 17:40 | I am quietly confident this share, unlike most junior miners, has a positive future. | holism
21/2/2014 14:34 | Some encouraging new images of Runruno on the MTL web site. They are fairly good at updating the web site with new images and you know what they say about a picture... Feels like a modern day equivalent of the setting for the film Pale Rider. Lets hope there aren'e any further similarities because that didn't exactly work out well for the large scale miner! | lord badger
