08/4/2013 10:05 | Looking good...will start to move higher | sportsauto

26/3/2013 14:50 | The company looks well funded now, in two years time this should show a very handsome reward from here!! At least I sincerely hope so.So much promise so many delays, this is a very good example of what not to have invested in over the last 5 years. | holism
26/3/2013 14:33 | Graph turning up | markk
26/3/2013 13:34 | Surprised by the muted reaction to the placing at a premium to current price. This looks like good news and the graph looks ready for a bounce from here. No one selling but no one buying either. Investor fatigue? | markk
26/3/2013 12:42 | Just took a nibble, i've been watching it fall, and took a wee plunge. I've been here before. Speculative gamble, news seems very erratic, but any sniff of good news and we could rapidly re-rate. DYOR. | davethechef
26/3/2013 12:34 | MTL ticking up, some of those 5p "sells" are in fact buys. ;-) | 27macca
22/3/2013 18:18 | We must be due an operational update plus the Y/E results soon. My heart tells me it must be a great time for another punt here. The bad news that is out there will reduce the returns, and it seems everyone is having a go at the company. Gold is off its high and falling, the Government are going for a tax grab, some likely lads have put in a writ, and the financing is quite pricey. But will it really kill the company? or is there something else we don't know about? After all they are sitting on $25m of Solomon's new equity to keep them going and have defined resources of gold with a market value of over $2bln. This week the share price fell 10% on a 50,000 trade, and rose 3% on a 1000 share trade. That's a £62 deal! | rupert1
28/2/2013 16:52 | Rns.......... in English please!!!!! what is going on with this company. | giantpeach2
19/2/2013 20:08 | Hope so Holism! Been here quite a few years Still confident. Best of luck to all. | johnlll
05/2/2013 17:47 | I think it's the writ (no further news on that) more than anything else that is causing the jitters. Once there are (hopefully positive) updates on this position things should improve. Before the writ threat was announced the share price was travelling north. | scorpione
05/2/2013 12:37 | I can't believe the major shareholders havent been kept informed, maybe we need to bang the table directly with the management. | holism
05/2/2013 12:26 | It is pathetic that there has been no update after the last RNS, after supposedly got everything in place such as finance, funding and ready to roll. It feels like we have gone back 5 years ago with an "idea" rather than a viable project. NEWS PLEASE............. | benson384
04/2/2013 17:04 | Lost touch with the power brokers here. Is there anyone still interested the majority of the shares is very tightly held. I remeber W de Broe were involved but they have been taken over. Its been quite some time since anything meaningful came out of the company and n0 market to dump the shares!! Badger you are probably right but I hope you are not.If the wbsite is all we have that's an expensive website. | holism
04/2/2013 16:56 | Holism, I agree. However, we may not have a mine but the web site looks nice! | lord badger
04/2/2013 16:32 | Has anyone got the latest position here. I cant believe after all these years the share price is where it is. | holism
15/11/2012 10:52 | I can't find the Writ anywhere, but the law is here, rule 7. I just can't see how two or more provinces or cities can be affected by a single mine unless it relates to watercourse issue. MTL appear, from the pictures, to be paying great attention to the watercourse (witness the gabions and bunding in the site pics section of the website) and have been closely monitored all the way by the authorities, seemingly winning prizes along the way for doing things right. So I can't immediately see how this writ has any prospect of sucess. General comment on this type of writ: "As of August 13, 2012, 16 petitions for the issuance of Writs of Kalikasan have been lodged before the high court involving a wide range of cases such as mining, oil leaks, reclamation projects and the testing of GMOs. Except in one case, writs were issued and the cases referred to the CA for hearings, and should be decided in 90 days by the appellate court. The issuance of the writ does not mean a project is halted. But it does place the burden on companies to prove that their operations will not cause environmental harm, Finela Mejia said." I see the response to the writ is due to be filed, at the latest, today... | tombarr
15/11/2012 09:44 | Does anyone have any details on this environmental writ, aside from what is contained in Metals Ex's official statement. I think we'd all like to see the detail. | lord badger
15/11/2012 09:00 | Thank you for that tombarr. Its very difficult to be positive when markets for junior mining companies are so unfavourable. I have learnt a great deal over the last five years let's hope we are still in business in five years time when this company should be where I thought it would have been two years ago!! | holism
09/11/2012 16:32 | I wouldn't have thought the management has done anything untoward, they haven't done anything for many years LOL!! | holism |
