funny, i was just saying on another thread yesterday that i would be looking closely at the bombed out oil and gas sector for opportunities, and today here it is!

believe me tho, there is no way that a serious oil company and a serious gold miner can co exist under the same roof. Its like apple computers owning chicken farms.

well, nobody understands it yet.

they have a plan, but haven't explained it to market yet.

previously i have dismissed this tin pot company as having next to nothing, poking around the pillars of an abandoned gold mine in one country while looking for oil assets in another.

Clearly that is utter madness, unless the plan is to divest, and i think that is what will happen here, but i don't know exactly how it will end up.

Soon EUA will have a pot full of cash, a producing PT mine (assuming it isn't sold), and STP in Russia, and if they also buy the MNRG assets then it solves the conundrum. MNRG get funding and what is left of EUA get a gold mine to work on.

Just a theory.

Looking at the chart it's been making a nice slow trend up since early August. Looks like it wants to breakout.. hopefully the news comes and it does!

Rolf refers to management retiring but the only private company with and management plans to retire are Rathlin?
During his interview Rolf mentioned taking over the operatorship of the target.
Rathlin is the operator.
Also I would expect the Semonovsky mine owned by EUA to be brought into the company after EUA is sold.
Just a thought.

Rolf Gerritsen, CEO of MetalNRG commented "We are very pleased with the outcome of the due diligence, which confirmed our initial projections, as well as with the collaborative relationships with the Vendor, our partners and the UK Regulators. We are now looking forward to completing the acquisition and we are confident we are fully prepared to take control of the running of this Oil & Gas operation."
