Unusually there is a queue of several companies just outside the FTSE 100 promotion zone and Merl would need to be closer to 400 to be the one to make the cut which seems less likely now but I am still happy to hold at present.

Good momentum means that at the current share price it will enter the FTSE 100 in March which is good news as that will mean further buying.

Personally I think this is PI's selling without the main traders buying, thus driving it down, the opposite of what we are seeing on other shares today. Should not concern long term holders IMO

In summary.......no injuries,small fire, small cafe affected therefore loss of revenue will be insignificant and probably covered by insurance and its all happened in low season.........typical mm reaction to bad news. It will bounce back soon.

As i said earlier, FTSE-250 promotion mean trackers have to buy to get their index weightings. Lots more to come imo.

Well it only needs to climb a bit more and hold to gain automatic FTSE 100 promotion so assuming their next set of results is reassuring they will go up in March.
I am certainly going to hold onto mine for the moment.

It might become a share like Direct Line - always on the reserve list for FTSE100 inclusion, but never quite getting there.
