12/11/2013 15:34 | I don't think you can read too much into the third day of trading! The issue was well oversubscribed so I can only assume that there are plenty of willing buyers out there. The business has performed very creditably through the recession so I am hoping that as the economy recovers they can continue to grow profitably. | salpara111
12/11/2013 15:31 | I try to ignore the colours (although it is difficult as they are ... in colour), and concentrate on one thing ... is it high relative volume and a falling price? Clearly high volume and rising price is correspondingly good.Where do people thing these red sells are going to? MMs can only hold so many on their books, and if so they are doing that for a reason. If they find they are accumulating too many (as they have an obligation to buy in order to make a market) you will find the share price falls to the point where buyers come back in to take them off their hands. | onething
12/11/2013 15:22 | It is the age old problem of having a colour coded trade list. It seems the majority are indeed sells being at the lower end of the spread, but the trade screen is not showing the corresponding buy (yet) as these are certainly being accumulated as evidenced by the share price not falling. It has been steady all day. Maybe the worked order has been filled now as the price has fallen a little in the last half hour. | onething
12/11/2013 15:18 | Cotton for every seller there is a buyer! Institutions will hoover up any shares | ricky46
12/11/2013 15:12 | Cotton, how do you know for 'fact' that they are sells? | wylecoyote
12/11/2013 14:36 | With so many sellers (three shares for every one purchased)I am surprised this hasn't started to fall. It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings. | cotton886

12/11/2013 00:08 | I use Barclays and they are offering Infinis. Done a bit of research, slightly different proposition to Merlin. With Merlin you are are being primarily sold a long term growth story. Infinis appears to be more about income. I never put an order in until the last day possible as that way there is less risk that something external happens in the wider market which could influence the trading value. I need to do a bit more digging tomorrow before making a firm decision. I expected to be scaled back on Merlin but actually wanted about £20K, will need to try and work out what I need to ask for if I decide to go for Infinis. | salpara111
11/11/2013 23:39 | £14 k , I thought I was pushing the boat out at £1.5k ! Yes I'm going to hold till new year and see where we are.Anyone looking at infinis too ? | rickyvader
11/11/2013 22:55 | Asked for £25K got about £14K. They will enter the FTSE 250 in December so that will ensure good demand leading up to that FTSE reshuffle date. I will hold until then and make a decision about whether to bail at that point. | salpara111
11/11/2013 15:21 | 351 close? | cotton886
11/11/2013 14:09 | I got my share allocation OK with SIPPDEAL, and topped up 1st thing this morning | hopperagain
11/11/2013 10:56 | Personally, I feel this company has too much debt. What is going to happen if they cannot grow the company quicker than interest rates rise? Capital spend will most likely suffer or they will have to take on more debt. IMHO & DYOR | minerve

10/11/2013 18:06 | GRUSS here you go ! IC VIEW: Energy is a hot topic at the moment and with the 'Big Six' likely to come under more political pressure in the coming months and years their previously rock solid dividends could also be under threat. Infinis is a well established and profitable operation, albeit reliant on continued government subsidy, which makes this a tempting yield play although don't expect the shares to be the most racy performers. Income buy. | marbles1234 |
