10/4/2015 15:39 | Over 12 million shares in the closing UT trade. 15.7 million for the day. | enami
10/4/2015 10:57 | My view is that the best returns have been achieved between listing and now but equally it is a nice relatively stable business with a global asset base and strong cash flow. I am inclined to take some of my money off the table having been in since the float not because sentiment has changed but because I wish to diversify my holding. | salpara111
10/4/2015 07:47 | This is now near enough broker targets, the price should also reflect FTSE promotion news - is there still an investment case? | sheyac
10/4/2015 07:22 | Yes, FTSE100 tracker funds will be buying. Most of them leave it until the last moment so look at the volume in the UT trade at tonight's close, it will be significantly higher than normal. | enami
09/4/2015 09:57 | thanks for that enami. am i right in saying that this usually means an increase in share price due to certain funds being forced to buy in? | harry the haddock
09/4/2015 07:27 | Promoted to FTSE100 effective `13 April due to Aviva/Friends life merger. | enami
08/4/2015 20:56 | Getting very close to my 460 target. It would seem inevitable that they will enter the FTSE 100 at the next review unless there is a sudden change of fortune. I will still unload half my stake at 460 given that I have been in since the IPO so that is a very solid return. | salpara111
08/3/2015 17:19 | Deutsche Bank has been left with a seven per cent stake in London Eye and Madame Tussauds owner Merlin Entertainments, after it offloaded a chunk of the company's stock earlier this week. Shares in Merlin plummeted fro 425p to 419p after the bank issued a statement saying its holding had crossed a seven per cent threshold. On Tuesday, Deutsche launched the sale of 156m shares in Merlin on behalf of buyout firms CVC and Blackstone. The shares, which represented 15.4 per cent of the company, were placed at 417p, a 2.2 per cent discount to the company's closing price on Monday night. Late on Monday, sources told City A.M. that the bank was struggling to place the block trade. It is understood today's announcement by Deutsche represents an aggregate position. CVC and Blackstone floated Merlin in November 2013 for £3.4bn and has since been selling down its stake in the group. Deutsche Bank declined to comment. | mornington crescent
08/3/2015 16:57 | a number of large sellers seem to have arrived so there may be some overhang for a while | mornington crescent

05/3/2015 13:14 | Well, it did not make the FTSE 100 cut this time but I was very pleased to see that the private equity owners were able to offload a sizeable stake for 417p which would suggest strong institutional interest. I am going to hold on here for a while longer as I can possibly see 460p in the not too distant future which is close to 50% up on the IPO price. I think I would be tempted to take at least half my stake off the table if it gets to that level. | salpara111
26/2/2015 13:09 | Perhaps not really soared because the company isn't great value? 18 x PBT to Mcap hardly enticing. Not much better forecast next year and the dividend isn't good either. | gohil18
26/2/2015 10:14 | as usual the market expectted better and hence the dip today ! But should resume uptrend soon and a NOR situation . | arja
26/2/2015 09:18 | Fingers crossed, currently has a larger market cap than 6 ftse 100 company's and has the second largest market cap in the ftse 250. Let's hope it holds. | pokio
26/2/2015 09:05 | They look like they could get into the ftse 100 at the March teshuffle | essential
26/2/2015 08:34 | Solid results, I will continue to hold on the back of these results. | salpara111
26/2/2015 08:20 | Yes, great results. 2015 will be a busy year for them. Everything seems to be on track. The high level of debt is a worry for me but it seems perfectly serviceable at the moment . The company is certainly not hanging about in it's expansion plans. Should be a good year! | pokio
26/2/2015 08:03 | The figures all look slightly ahead of forecast, they should do well today. | eaaxs06
20/2/2015 09:14 | Touch and go as to whether they will get into the FTSE 100 at the early March review but I am not that bothered, I have held from the float and intend to hold long term due to the long term growth prospects. | salpara111
12/2/2015 12:25 | I see plenty of news flow coming up. Orlando eye opens next week and the mega theme park in Dubai seems to be on track to be open next year. All good here, happy to hold on to my shares. http://gulfbusiness. | pokio
16/1/2015 09:15 | looks set for ftse100 next time any downside to this ? | mornington crescent
06/1/2015 20:01 | Yes, quiet thread but maybe that's a good thing! For me this is a solid enough investment from its enviable portfolio of attractions with queues waiting to get in. This tells me that it has limited downside and probably a steady progression long term. Becoming a FTSE100 stock will certainly raise its profile even beyond trackers in my opinion, but I've often been wrong about shares so DYOR of course. | asmagliocco
06/1/2015 17:41 | Any one out there. I am looking at this share as it seems to have a good chance of promotion to the ftse 100 at the next re shuffle. That of course means ftse 100 trackers buying in. Any thoughts on this? | bigmike100 |
