Now that Mr Morris has over 19% of the company, what`s the chances of the company being taken private, in due course?

Nice post lex1000, I been in MPH for a while now but only post very occasionally? and I for one love to read the regular poster's (you know who u are) view on things. Excellent thread with what I think are honest and genuine contributors, keep up the good work. Roll on tomorrow!

What would we all do without Brindy being first in to kick start such share price activity & dealings.

Never seen or heard Momentos openly fretting on bb before.Liked reading posts weighing up reasons for investing and being invested in MPH.

Prefer cash and paper certificates meself only spending money can afford to tie up.Less stress and pressure I find. Some frantic action on my part to urgently free up funds today for a top under 19p!

Before the drop had raised target buy price from 21p to 23p therefore consider MPH are still cheap.Consistency there.Inevitable law of averages says will get things wrong & lows of 18p-18.5p prove this.1m sale of shares co-incided with generally weak falling markets throws up genuine buying opportunities.

Respect views of most who post on here. Some of us tell it as it is, how we see things at the time and ocassionally what we think of each other.lol.

An excellent and interesting day.Never seen or should that read cannot remember so much activity by market makers in MPH before.1m sell quickly bought and another 1m bought higher @ 20p.Wow! Dividend is due soon & good rate of return.

We each do our own thing on this thread bringing something to the table with personal knowledge & experiences.

I like this thread, true long termers with genuine interest in Marchpole, balanced views even contrarian ones balancing the pros & the cons.Beneficial to review what has gone on in the past, what is going on and discuss the future.Always be sure of comradie and humour.

DYOR is important.Investment is personal, decisions about entry points, strategies and exits points are for each of us to decide upon.Buy,sell or hold.

Momentos,

To be honest you get it wrong far to many times, you have trashed MPH, Michael Morris & his personal life, to many times for my liking.
To much speculation on your part as a small investor in & out of MPH. The advise you give is only speculation reworking old news already in the market place.

Far to many miss-leading presumptions are being made by you yet again.

I am a long term holder of a substantial amount of shares in MPH & I carryout due diligence, I also have a very good private investor relationship with the company.

What you attempt to do is effect PI`s investing or not in MPH, this only works with investors like yourself who are short termers.

I certainly don`t buy or sell on the BB`s input & my advise for any PI`s is DYOR
& trust your own judgement based on the real facts you have managed to gather.

not alot of buying post results, but he was probably short at time of results. The post results selling would have cured that problem though and some I would have thought.

Who knows? Who cares?! What a turbulent day!

My best guess is that GT has finished....hard to tell though.

SCAP usually stays on the bid longer than others so he probably had quite a few - but I doubt he held 750k.

Not so easy to chill when you have cfd's with stops to sort out. Came perilously close at one point when the next bid hit 17.5p.... Had to move them again for safety's sake. More margin required etc etc...! Think I'll go back to holding the shares for real!

BTW thanks to all for the L2 info - v helpful for making such judgements!

Agree, brindy. I was trying to work that one out. But would they want to be so short [at sub 20p] when the price is moving up quickly? They will only end up a serious amount shorter if the buying continues with few sellers.

GT had 2.5m in total, so how may he has sold / had sold prior to that is an unknown. IMO he has now sold the lot.

SCAP may have been quite long on MPH, being the house broker and perhaps more willing to soak up the previous sells.

Sad to report that despite CR's efforts, Plusnet is still going down, and MPH going up! Single figures? MY AR*E!

Could have been CR !!

I think SCAP had the buyer and picked up 250k from other MMs. I doubt he was sitting on 750k so is probably a bit short atm.

Much better day !!! i keep watching and waiting hopefully to be rewarded for my patience :) ... we seem to be out of the immediate quagmire and great timing by MM (and ofc Brindy) so lets hope the next 22.5p resistance is not too much of a resistance.

Well I got it wrong on the MM Buys it seems it was one MM buying from all the others, not one selling to all the others! Cleared them all out by the looks of it.

That must be institutional, perhaps the same one as took the 800k. If so 1.8m shares is over 1% and we should see an RNS, unless its our old friends Rathbones Unit Trusts increasing their holding, or a new fund!
