Argy... I don't mind being criticised for bad trading.. I put myself in the public eye and fair criticism is OK. But suggesting my marchpole trade was a fantasy is a completely different thing - you probably made the comment because you couldn't see my 20,000 trade at 18.3 on the advfn trade page. This is because barclays traded it via Plus Markets rather than the LSE and you can see the trade there made at 14.49 www.plusmarketsgroup.com. If you need more proof I will ask Barclays to supply me with a contract note copy and send it to you - please e-mail me at [e-mail]. As I said you can be as nasty as you like about me on any other matter but to cast doubt on whether my trade was real or not is a different thing. It's real all right and I think an apology is due!

Momentos I knew you have issues with Matt, and if he wishes to correspond with you he will without needing my assistance. Matt like myself is a long term holder and has only the interest of investors in mind, hopefully you can work your diferences out as you both have a great deal of investing knowledge that could benefit everyone concerned with Marchpole..................Regards wbj

Now onto another favourite, Marchpole(MPH) - no Sherlock Holmes stuff here, I just got lucky, kind of! I reckoned when it hit 18-18.5p that looked like rock bottom again and it looked a good time to get in again to add to my current positions at 13 and 16.

So I bought a further 20,000 MPH shares at 18.33p on Tuesday to add to the positions already held at 13 and 16.. Target 22.5, stop 16.

Now here's the lucky bit: the next day a share overhang went, the head cheese snaffled 200,000 shares - there was a buyer of a million shares and the market makers were suddenly short again. The shares swung higher and are back over the 20p level.

I think it's unlikely they will dip short term below 18-19 and there is some short term upside to the sticky 22.5p area. After that, the next level is 25p. With many investors in and out of this one all the time it will probably stay volatile!

Yes Robbie,MPH as we all know does get traded!

I can't believe YSL/ PPR are about to walk away from 25-30m (GBP) sales. Madness.

Ther global sales for the es UK are Euro160m - GBP110m. So when you need to rebuid your brand you throw away nearly 25% of global sales? Interesting strategy.

I am not sure the YSL issue is all played out. Perhaps a bit of brinkmanship.... Bad business by PPR if they don't renew, the little-ish UK diffusion operation is ahrdly going to affect their global DOS. People are by far even less likely to walk [drive] to the nearest DOS boutique than just buy Ungaro (or something else....) instead.

PPR cannot steal MPH designs. Or MPH customers. WE will see what happens...

wbj,important bit now is to build permanent rock solid support @ 20p.Personal take is mms began process today cleverly trading within very tight spread.Would not surprise me if 75K @ 20.05p was actually a buy bought very near to bid.Part of that process is tempting out profit takers as seen today albeit selling at what regard as support.Meant to buy those! Sell at resistance.

Good luck to anyone making a penny or two.A profit is a profit.No ridicule from me.
Get rid of sellers,true breakouts when they come can be fast & furious.No looking back.Therefore benefits true long term holders even if they have re-invested more recently.lol.

The dip down to 12p-13p was predictable given great uncertainties at the time.MPH been there and done that.We have a very clear picture where we are at,where we are going and how build on future growth to justify predictions of 30p-50p.

Whatever volatility in the market weeks months ahead am expecting MPH to be a very good place to have money invested.Growth & dividend.

Chart shows long period of consolidation 20p-22.5p.Time already served.

Personally was not fretting,spellchecker providing alternative suggestion "sweating!",on recent short term loss of 20p support.Brindy quite rightly bought as near to 18p support a la fingersxxd or purfect as some in Kent would say.More buying @ 20p support.

Someone selling one million shares,MM buying 200k and a.n.other the remaining 800k accounts for market working price down co-inciding market volatility,flushing out sellers.One million buy @ 20p is significant.

MPH gotta be worth 20p-25p with truer valuation as Momentos has suggested is 30p.

OK I have expressed personal views on MM.You've got to compliment the guy on vision, global expansion plans and Drapers link provides details of MM working and multiplying business growth up.Think of a number double it and the quadruple.Positively organic.Like what he's doing.There you go Matt positive on MM.

wbj,you probably give me more credit than I deserve,in fact know that you do.

Optimistic on MPH trading 20p-25p.Watch for break through major resistance @ 22.5p and as fingersxxd states buyers coming in 25p & above.Might even see CR and more traders coming in at that point.

Stick to your guns my friend.Qualify for dividend payment in August payment in September which combined with previously paid helps bring down your average buying price.You are aware of various views expressed many times on here.

Great that Tufty popped back to say hi & let us know what he has been up to.Interesting to see how individual investors spread money over a portfolio of shares.Beats watching just one share & supports my view advantages of not all eggs in one basket.

No real intentions to be posting.More to life than advfn & markets.Illness within the family further reminder to make most of time we have and not take good health for granted.Served purpose in covering recent blip and may therefore disappear for awhile.
