I am sure the shares have been touted for a while, the MM has had to bleed them out in the meantime until the price reached a level where someone would bite on a bulk placing.

momentos - Not sure that would explain the general fall though. The placing would not have affected the general sp, which seemed to be falling as the result of other selling pressure. Just MVHO.

Institutional I would have thought given the size.

Looks like 1m of someone's (GT's) shares were "placed". MM and other taker have obviously played hardball to get a stonking price to buy them at.
