20/7/2006 15:33 | lol reversed it now, dangerous games... | momentos
20/7/2006 15:26 | Okay, so they're happy to not lose money on the 20p on the basis they've made a turn on the ones they picked up sub-20p. W/done on the binary. Not immediately obvious to me whether FT will end up or down today. Perhaps it'll land on green and the house takes all! Bonne chance! | ![]() chap1889
20/7/2006 15:22 | >>>>wbjunior - 20 Jul'06 - 07:53 - 376 of 436 I have not had time to read all the posts wbj....but her is my take with TALK TALK at the moment..... I am with TISCALI at the moment, with a BT phone line, which is on a local loop unbundling operator (LLUO).....NOW this appears to be where the trouble lies.........TALK TALK say contact your server (TISCALI) and they will give you the MAC CODE (as agreed in the Code Of Pratice)...nice and straight forward, OH NO! TISCALI say they cannot supply one because BT cannot Generate the CODE....BT say they do not supple a MAC code....BT say they ONLY supply a MAC Code TO THEIR OWN BT BROADBAND CUSTOMERS if they ask for one so THEY can transfer to another ISP. So there is where the problem lies... TALK TALK cannot get one from TISCALI (it is down to the customer to obtain it)TISCALI blame BT for not generating one for their customers...BT say they do not generate a code....OFCOM stand at the back and do not want to get involved. YET.....FAQ regarding MAC CODE according to TISCALI (If you want to join them)Is a simple process.......SO I HAVE NOW ASKED THEM TO PUT IN WRITTING WHY I AM BEING REFUSED IT FROM THEM..YET THEIR FAQ QUOTE IT IS NORMAL THING AND STRAIGHT FORWARD.....OFCOM's CODE OF PRACTICE say's the same thing. THEIR (TISCALI/TALK TALK)remedy is straight forward (but the opposite to what they say in their FAQ, simple DO NOT CANCEL OLD ISP ACCOUNT) it is for me to (Wait for it)...CLOSE my account with my old server TISCALI and WHEN the Bundling of BT exchange has been disconnected....INFO So I am at the moment paying TALK TALK for phone calls WITHOUT broadband, and taking it further with OFCOM..... Why should I be OFFLINE for some 3/4 weeks...BUT could be longer. Oh yes, I asked seeing that they TT have not fullfilled their side of the contract (18 months contract) Would I be able to cancell my contract without having to pay a penalty charge (£70) answer NO. So please check with your Server first to see if they do give you a MAC CODE when requested. OFCOM Codes of Practice TISCALI FAQ (SWITCHING TO TISCALI) GOOD LUCK ROY | ![]() randv
20/7/2006 15:19 | Sorry for not answering, playing with ftse binaries. Lovely touch for FTSE down bet from about 5795. Buy at 20.3. Luverly jubbly! The "average" price SCAP paid for the 1m they sold will still fall sub 20p I would think. | momentos
20/7/2006 15:16 | They definitely don't have to hold shares to be able to sell them, they just have to offer a market in them and be able to balance their books within a certain time period, which is often where buying off other MMs comes into play. All looks very odd anyway! | ![]() chap1889
20/7/2006 15:09 | I think they can only sell what they have so the 1m would have been picked up prior to the bid hitting 20p. I don't think they are necessarily trying to recoup what they sold now, but are collecting more to sell on later at 21p etc....but who ever really knows what they are up to :-) imho. | ![]() le mass du pap
20/7/2006 14:53 | I was working from the previous assumption that SCAP were the ones who sold the 1m at 20p and so are now sitting on the bid to get their hands on the shares they are short of. If the bid is 20p they can't be making any money on it? | ![]() chap1889
20/7/2006 14:49 | they sold the ones they got sub 19p for 20p and then they will sell the ones they get for 20p at 21p etc.... | ![]() le mass du pap
20/7/2006 14:29 | momentos - if SCAP sold 1m at 20p and are now collecting at 20p how are they turning a profit? Why not drop to join WINS on 19.75, WINS would probably fall straight down to 19.5 leaving SCAP to at least make a turn on these? | ![]() chap1889
20/7/2006 12:56 | SCAP still collecting... | momentos
20/7/2006 12:40 | Who knows. All very quiet today. | momentos
20/7/2006 12:39 | Yeah and they sold prior to yesterday, MUPPETS!!!!!!!!!! | ![]() cr4zyness

20/7/2006 10:43 | 315k Sells vs 60k buys... | momentos
20/7/2006 10:38 | Going for the Big Mac now... 121 shares. Unless it is just SCAP looking to better there position it seems like background action may be continuing... | momentos
20/7/2006 10:36 | Yep.....they seem to be taking it in their stride atm. Bit surprised we haven't seen a tree shake yet ! | brindy
20/7/2006 10:27 | Same here Lex off to Portishead for dinner back at around 3, Brindy your in charge .................... | ![]() wbjunior |
