04/7/2007 15:45 | O/T Nice post in "the other place" on CCT here: Might cheer you up a bit Lex :0). I bought in to CCT following recent falls. Am thinking of topping up - looks like someone has just beaten me to it with a 10K buy. Oh.. and it looks like Axa added 400K MPH on 28th June (RNS just out) :0) Summer chilling season for these and many other smallcaps methinks... Cheers, Mark | ![]() marben100
04/7/2007 14:43 | ARGY2,downtrend CCT chart, bearish talk about interest rates market in general and CCT in particular.MPH ok I think providing hold 162p-165p and see no sells appearing sub 160p.Advice suggested short term is to sit it out and wait. From 100p MPH is currently outperforming CCT.Medium to long term holdings should do fine methinks. aimvho. | ![]() lex1000
04/7/2007 13:54 | Both doing badly then. What do charts say?...can't be good imho. | ![]() argy2

04/7/2007 12:28 | dramatis, yes anything can happen. All i'm saying can't see any justifiable reason why MPH should drop below recent lows of 162p-165p.On the basis of glass half full favour double bottom.regards lex;o) | ![]() lex1000
04/7/2007 12:02 | lex...anything can happen. until some serious buying takes place this price could shift anyhere, temporarily. it has done so before. definitely a stock for people that like the management, such as myself. buy and hold. | dramatis
04/7/2007 11:54 | Looking consolidation & bounce from here. Why someone should sell 50k at this point is beyond me.If weakens imo ok hold onto 162p-164p.Would not want to see any dip below 160p. Can't see that happening.Positive mid point @ 166p.aimvho. free stock charts from www.advfn.com | ![]() lex1000

03/7/2007 11:27 | Hardman in their June report speak of deals thus far this year.Indicative of more to come.In addition to small acquistion in Company finals mention of further deals in the pipeline. There comes a point where the fact that Marchpole is trading @ 50% discount to its peers will need to be addressed. "We are in continuing negotiation with other potential licensees and distributors as we continue to develop this segment of our strategy." "We continue to invest in the brand and are confident of future growth." | ![]() lex1000
03/7/2007 10:35 | Give it a couple of years and Moda by itself will be worth more than the total current Stockmarket valuation of MPH. IMHO. | ![]() dan de lion
03/7/2007 09:41 | Sammu, As Marchpole's largest shareholder, MM's "incentives" pale into insignificance next to the impact on the value of his MPH holdings of any action that destroys shareholder value. His interests lie very firmly in doing a GOOD deal, rather than any deal that grows the business. Must admit, I too am not too keen on this idea but, as ddl suggests, the deals MM has done so far appear very shrewd. I hope to be able to to discuss this move at the AGM. Cheers, Mark | ![]() marben100

03/7/2007 08:05 | When you can stock up your shops at the prices MPH obtain their goods for it makes excellent sense, "vertical intergration" I think it is called. Everything MM has bought so far has been a bargain. | ![]() dan de lion |
