CR - They were tipped last month in an investors subscription magazine and
these were estimates quoted.

At the time the price was 19.5p !!

A little dip and a nice little buying chance before the EU bulb recycling laws come in at the end of the month. My bet is there will be at least one or two panorama type programmes about recycling at the time and good news coverage.

Just to let people know, ive sold two lots of 10k today and still holding 35k.

Gonna hold the remainder for a while yet, at least to the EU announcement.

daza75 - I added two lots of 10K.

regandjess - I agree - there will be a lot of fuss made about it. Have seen two major news articles on ITV and the Beeb well in advance of it.

When we get into august and the new E.U. Directive comes into force, these'll look cheap at these prices.

Added a few more today myself.

Tried to buy at 15p but the mm's wanted a 1p premium for 20K - told them to stick it - thhen it raced away on a tip :-(

Anyway, in at 22p and topped up today. Recycling is becoming the big issue and Mercury have to benefit imo.

This thread was started believe it or not when Working Lunch mentioned that they were the following day going to visit a tube recycling plant in Manchester........ 1+1=2 and guessed correctly that these were the ones, phoned a few peeps and suggested a punt.........and i believe they were around 6p to buy (quite a volotile wk). Did a small scan on google (Euro legistation looked a key part then).................and wait for it.............i never bought em, though others did.

I'm watching another high potential (imo) company at the mo, no thread (and sod starting one), just waiting for some uni feedback.

good luck and welldone to those in this one.

another slide today.

the prospects look good for the medium to long term, but with the EU directive not in place yet, and prima facie unimpressive results this looks though it could ease another couple of pennies before shoring up at the support at about 15p on the chart.

You can see that a lot of people who have bought might take some profits and look to buy in lower.

for those that are not "in" yet it looks like waiting for the drift back down to 15 to continue might be the prudent course.

any views?
