Round and round the Comex goes
where it stops no one knows
Magic money and fake gold deals,
no genuine traders to oil the wheels
the crooked banks of the USA
are the only men in the game they play .

I go with Goldman Sachs ---------Gold at 2.5k/oz in I years time---

Scrub that, I like this B of A better --Bank of America Corp. raised its 18-month gold-price target to $3,000 an ounce -- more than 50% above the existing price record -- in a report titled “The Fed can't print gold.”21 Apr 2020

This might also explain why the specs kept getting humped - ie it was all in house money -

Where Have All the Specs Gone? - Craig Hemke
Written by Craig Hemke, Sprott Money News

One might think that the current madness combined with QE∞ from the global central banks would lead to surging speculator interest in owning and trading COMEX precious metals futures. But the opposite is true. How weird is that?....

....Or could it be that the Managed Money category was never simply true "speculator" money anyway? Andrew Maguire had whistleblower evidence in 2012 that revealed the bullion banks to maintain massive offshore accounts that were labeled as "Managed Money" by the CFTC. Perhaps it is this component of the MM category that has disappeared following the events of late March?..

What will it take to get gold moving ?

We now+have effectively zero interest rates huge amounts of money Printing Globally but still gold refuses to really break out.

In fact as of today it seems keen to break down.

Pigeonfeeder, as chipperfred is involved in a broad based array of mining shares I thought it would reach a broader audience if he found it pertinent. I am not known to chipperfred whereas deka1 is. Simple as that.

Bhg I think that video is of relevance to MML shareholders - why direct it at a particular poster?

Demand is that your personal forecast for gold this year?

deka1 is lying. I thought the link would have been have been of use to chipperfred in his overall strategy and have noticed deka and chip.. appear friendly. Simple as that.

Ah. Says all you need to know.
Why on earth would he expect someone else to send his stuff.
Banning someone from a thread is for a reason!

So you don't have to deal with their drivel anymore....

Bhg,

Why dont YOU ask if Chipperfred has caught the article?

Why rely on someone else to do such?

deka1, you might ask chipperfred if he has caught this - it applies to mining shares rather than gold itself.

It will be over a dollar by next week at the rate its rising lol

no one can predict the level gold will go to, but it could be $2000/oz before the end of the year, or next week, the only thing that looks to be nailed on is IT WILL BE THERE SOON,and the golds that are working mines, will BE FLYING including MML,
and one dollar /share will be a distant bad memory, lol.

Auz write up.

MML is extemely cheap because of it's unfortunate location the Phillipines. It's over $1.50 stock if it was in Australia, if not even higher. I think it should get close to a $1 mark in a few months time.

The buyers are hesitant to buy because of it's location.
The sellers are reluctant to sell at these prices when they know the company is making decent money, it's fully unhedged production(probably the only miner in ASX gold sector), hardly any debt, a decent cash on hand (enough to pay a dividend), a very low enterprise value, less than many ASX explorers.

Here we are a 100K 0zs established producer with many more years left in the LOM.
Many don't know is the last time MML raised money from the market was in 2013 at $1.875.
It powered through the entire gold bear market with lots of operational issues, the Phillipines government (Duterte), hurricane Gina( the then environment minister).

MML share register is as tight as a fish aa...shhh.
Top 20 hold 80% of the share register.

I think it's a matter of time when the market realises and joins the share register.

One thing I must add is....MML also needs a proactive leader.
One who has plan to grow the business and not just live hand to mouth comfortably.

Hi All,

According to my rough calcs, if PoG remains around this level (Q2 so far averages ~$1,660) and production is maintained, the cost of the Decline and Associated Capex will be in the bank by May 2021, plus a $10m cash buffer.
