13/1/2016 11:18 | Steve, Thanks. In summary, A.Teo should be released. Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
13/1/2016 09:56 | I hope this is not another Rubi-CON-! Minerals. They started production but had to stop due to a lower grade of gold, it turned out that the estimated gold resource was over estimated by 88%. Now there is a newly built mill with no economic resource to mine. Just incredible. My confidence in these mining CEO's is totally gone. Self interested scum most of them seem to be. Time will soon tell us about the management of MML. | ![]() bluelynx
13/1/2016 09:55 | Yes, effective news release is zero. GD would support the share price by regular releases of exploration/reserves A. Teo despite much news that should be released - zero. A Teo performance. Zero. | ![]() stevea171
13/1/2016 09:19 | Yes, the toqueville article makes a very interesting read. Last night's MML price drop is lamentable, but I guess to be expected given the deafening silence from Perth. Since the shock outcome of the AGM, in the past two months the only things we shareholders have been told are a very regrettable fatality, a holder becoming insubstantial, a director leaving and a director re-joining. Meanwhile the share price has slumped a further (26)%, now making it (57)% over one year. Views anyone? tightfist | ![]() tightfist
13/1/2016 00:57 | Chip that is a great read thank you. It puts forward a lot of points clearly, and it's obviously very bullish on gold, I just wish when he says we believe this or that he had backed it up with at least a bit of evidence, anecdotal or not. MML is already a big holding for me, I will have to find other gold producers that are low debt and likely to survive - I know you follow a few - would you recommend any for further research? I'm going to stay away from etfs in case of a price dislocation should there be a market 'event' Cheers , allyp | allyp

12/1/2016 19:52 | Cheers chip , this bit imo is MML there are new mines that have been under construction for several years that should begin to produce gold, profitable even at current prices, at a time when industry production is shrinking. We believe that they will be sought-after acquisition targets as other producers deplete reserves. Other notable exceptions include companies that are still in good financial condition with attractive assets and positive cash generation. Their equities offer dynamic exposure to the repricing of gold that we regard as inevitable. | ![]() deka1

09/1/2016 00:43 | Deka1,The weak A$ has certainly helped me buy more MML shares. With a higher gold price and perhaps commodities as a whole we should hopefully see the A$ strengthen. Then long suffering MML holders will get the benefit from a rising share price and a stronger $A.Well you can dream anyway...Just want to see RG as the COO. That would be good enough for now.Cheers,Niels | ![]() nielsc
08/1/2016 22:09 | hi Eintracht, at the end of 2011 mml was trading at 8aud, and iirc they produced 100kozs,Then he wheels fell off,if all goes well they will produce over 125kozs this year end June, aud has fallen somewhat since then , I think the aud was about 1.75 to a quid, today its around 2: ish | ![]() deka1
08/1/2016 20:26 | Hi Eintract, Actually, I don't think it's perplexing. The harsh reality is that 26 months after the highly-respected, communicative and charismatic leader resigned and passed the Chairman baton to AT, we still do not have a succession plan - or a public persona. Worse than that, the tentative succession plan that investors were believing in has been snuck away without a credible explanation, and the Boardroom door is revolving. IMHO, until that is fixed we won't get fair recognition of the fundamentals as far as the share price goes; the tailwind of a rising PoG will only take us so far? Cheers, tightfist | ![]() tightfist
08/1/2016 19:32 | Yeah Deka I read that article. If you took it at gospel 40% of the country would be doomed to die of cancer because they drink too much. Didn't I once read somewhere that the highest rate of alcoholics in any profession was in doctors ?!!! I'm forever hoping for a turnaround for MML, too many false dawns though. If you compare the state of the company now in terms of what they are producing and what they were producing back in 2006-07 when I first bought in at below 50p its perplexing. The Gold price and sentiment towards miners being the big difference. What were MML producing when the price was over $6 ? Cant be more than now but unfortunately Gold is no longer kicking around $1900 !!! | eintracht
08/1/2016 09:43 | Hi Eintracht, good on ya sport lol, the Gov here are trying to stop us all having a pint, now saying 1 a day causes cancer, I hate politicians as much as I hate banksters, the world would be a much better place for their passing lol. this is the year for MML turnaround mate, the mine issues all sorted , prod rising, costs dropping , just need the POG to play along, and we will be flying. Be lucky old pal, and all the best to ya | ![]() deka1
