04/11/2016 15:16 | Interesting news out this morning MBL announces that Lisa Clarke is stepping down from her role as Acting Chief Executive and Finance Director with immediate effect. Tim Jackson-Smith will become Executive-Chairman on an interim basis. Tim Jackson-Smith, Chairman commented: "On behalf of the Board, I would like to thank Lisa for the significant contribution she has made to the Company over the last ten years and we wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours." I do not think there will be very many shareholders who will have the same opinion and be thanking her. She never returned any of my calls over the years and the share price has declined in seven of the ten years she has been FD or CEO....not a great reference for the next employer | davidosh
23/8/2016 13:01 | Few day traders from yesterday taking losses or break even. Not many can hold more than a day in this game any more. | hatey
22/8/2016 21:14 | I remember the slump days as AMU when the wheels fell off and Morrisons did the dirty on them so the drop from 100p to 20p was dramatic. Some people swear by gaps on the charts and this one now has some serious gaps on the upside. Does not mean it's just going to spike to 50p in a couple of days but with so little stock around it might have a artificial spike even if the fundamentals do not support it. But it's hardly expensive breaking back into profit with a 1.9 mil cash pile with a £2.92 mil cap. There's far worse Aim stocks out there with much higher valuations. Might be dull but for the last year the shareprice has done nothing but either tread sideways or rise and has recovered 100% from lows. | hatey
22/8/2016 17:21 | No problem. The longer term chart puts the current price in context I think. Has been moving sideways for ages and 16p or so has always been the highest it's been able to get. Finally above that today and on decent volume. | tromso1
22/8/2016 16:30 | tromso Thanks for that. I checked chart earlier and could not go back far enough to see how far back it was last this high. | hatey
22/8/2016 16:26 | Nice flat base on the long term chart. And no obvious nearby resistance on the way back up. Could be the start of a decent move. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | tromso1
22/8/2016 13:03 | Still no buy quote and has not been one since early this morning. | hatey
22/8/2016 09:53 | David. And also there has been virtually no stock around. With large stakeholders adding it's impossible to get size. All morning it's been N/T to buy all the way up. A solid hold with the real chance of a mega spike. | hatey
22/8/2016 09:12 | I agree - whilst profit is small this year, it is a profit, which is a big turnaround.... very positive IMO looking forwards.... DL | davidlloyd
22/8/2016 08:42 | Results today nothing said. I think they were really good. Big turnaround to small profits and they increased the cash as well despite the listing costs. 2.5 mil cap, cash 1.9 mil and business growing from large losses to small profits. The good old times of Amu/Mubl might be ready to return. | hatey
20/7/2016 11:05 | Why is Staton wanting to buy the shares ? He was never interested when the company was doing well even though he was running one of the divisions so knew more than most so.. Why now ?? | davidosh
18/7/2016 18:09 | Kevin staton has bought another 500k+ and now has 10.4%. hmmmm...... | fft
15/7/2016 03:23 | Sounds vaguely encouraging and that they will present some form of liquidating plan in or by that time, in all shareholders interests. No TA fan but do not blindly have faith in the motives of the new arrivals, they will be in it for themselves. Given the % quoted it suggests that Cowgill is at odds with the Allans now. Could there be some hidden value amongst the bird seed and beyond the NAV? I guess the company has some tax write off value, but for someone to come in hostile for a zero goodwill entity to raid the coffers doesnt make all that much sense after paying off employees, cancelling leases with TA'spals etc., can't imagine there would be much left. | miamisteve
14/7/2016 19:17 | The adjournment today gives plenty of time now. If there is an October meeting things will be very different. | davidosh
14/7/2016 13:54 | Its okay. Was trying to get a proxy for my shares, if the GM vote was looking like it being tight. | miamisteve

03/7/2016 10:24 | I do not think any shareholders with a long term holding in MBL will be voting for Trevor Allan as he certainly did not have other shareholders best interests in mind when he was running the company and tens of shareholders will be voting against the resolutions. Why has there been no defence document or statement made ? | davidosh
27/6/2016 07:31 | PI's may well hold the key to this. Need to contact the non execs to get a heads up on whats going on. 34% to 43%. With the recent purchasing that may be more in the region of 36% to 43%. 3. Voting Indications I am aware that a number of shareholders have indicated support for the proposed Resolutions and are expected to vote in favour of the Resolutions in respect of their beneficial holdings in Ordinary Shares which represent in aggregate approximately 43 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. This includes an indication from Lisa Clarke (acting Chief Executive Officer and Financial Director) that she intends to vote in favour of the Resolutions in respect of her own beneficial holding in Ordinary Shares which represent in aggregate approximately 1.4 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company. I have also been made aware that a number of shareholders representing approximately 34 per cent. of the issued share capital of the Company have verbally indicated that they intend to vote against the Resolutions. The directors who are the subject of Resolutions 1 and 2 are entitled under the Act to make representations to the Shareholders in relation to such Resolutions and accordingly Shareholders may receive further information on this matter in due course. | miamisteve
21/6/2016 13:18 | And more buying yet to be reported methinks.... DL | davidlloyd
20/6/2016 16:33 | Hotting up - another 100k just bought at full ask. | philjeans
18/6/2016 17:00 | 2BOR.....How do you mean ff note ? Who else would want to asset strip ? | davidosh
18/6/2016 12:39 | daviddosh - read ff note of 3rd (I think) June. If he had wanted to asset strip the company, he's had plenty of time to do so - so why would he want to now? However, others may!! - beware what your vote wishes for!! | 2bor
16/6/2016 16:49 | Why is Staton buying ? He is linked to MBL over many years so why now ?? | davidosh
16/6/2016 15:27 | Game on! M/c still just £2.5M! Will go very much higher. | philjeans |
