10/11/2010 10:57 | smellyjim - the problem with winding up one poster is it winds up 20 others that post and 40 others that don't. Is it really worth making enemies of 60 people to annoy one? | ![]() aleman
10/11/2010 10:48 | smellyjim....What is it about the cash generation and net cash with no debt that you dislike in the accounts ? The items that you may feel need shareholder attention have already been flagged up with the chairman and verified as kosher. The issues were discussed at the AGM and reasonable explanations provided so I guess you are just here to wind up a particular poster. Put up facts or shut up !! | ![]() davidosh
10/11/2010 08:45 | From Sainsburys; Our online groceries business continues to go from strength to strength, with annual sales up over 20 per cent, and weekly orders now regularly in excess of 120,000. Our offer is even more widely available across the country, with over 90 per cent of households able to access the service. At the same time we continue to see further improvement in our availability and customer satisfaction, with both performing ahead of target. We are also pleased with the development of our non-food online offer, which has been supported by the rollout of 'Click & Collect. Following successful trials earlier in the year, this is now available at over 140 stores and has been well received by customers. The annual online grocery sales will be up to £600m from £500m. I would expect a good proportion of this would go to non food items which went live in July 2009. Non would be from 'entertainment' which went live less than a week ago. 120,000 sales a week translates into 714 per hour and an average spend of about £100. The Alexa GB rank has also dropped from 33,746 yesterday to 19,525 today. Not that I think Alexa is a reliable measure of anything. | ![]() kimboy2

10/11/2010 07:58 | Good news on L2. There's a new mm Liberian in Mubl today so that makes 4 mm's and a little bit more liquid and they have opened 110-118p | scott84
09/11/2010 22:15 | Sainsburys interims out Wednesday so maybe there will be a mention of their new website in those. | ![]() tacobumpy
09/11/2010 17:26 | davidosh, kimboy - good work gents, much appreciated! The Board can be assured of my long term support, provided that they continue to run the business to the best of their ability, do their best to minimise dependence on a small number of large customers. What we also need is better shareholder communications, so that the unnecessary suspicion and mutual ill-feeling is eliminated. As part of that the ongoing strategic review needs to be concluded ASAP (as promised at the AGM), so that we all know where we stand. Yesterday's RNS was an excellent start. Cheers, Mark | ![]() marben100

09/11/2010 15:02 | Carole King - one of the greatest songwriters (along with Gerry Goffin) ever. Also famous for being the Carol in Neil Sedaka's Oh Carol. Love her songs and I own Tapestry album but sadly not gifted with beautiful voice. | ![]() alter ego
09/11/2010 14:29 | I would not describe Carole King as bargain bucket. As for MUBL time will tell. | ![]() kimboy2
09/11/2010 14:24 | Bargain Bucket hey? Do you apply the same criteria to your music buys as your share purchases? | ![]() tacobumpy
09/11/2010 14:20 | Oh well if the worst comes to the worst I can always just sit and listen to my Carole King CD. | ![]() kimboy2

09/11/2010 14:14 | I am involved in an online business. We and most of our competitors have a policy of ensuring that numbers cannot be tracked in this way. Our systems ensure a random element. | timesmoney
09/11/2010 13:58 | Be careful with numbers - the last digit might be a check digit and therefore your numbers might be only 2 different. | ![]() rbcrbc
09/11/2010 13:50 | I am not saying it is very good. I am just saying it is the number and can perhaps be compared to guage rate of progression later. The online grocery division did £500m last year. If we assumed that the average order was £100 then that is 570 orders every hour of every day. I wouldn't expect the entertainment part to do this but it shows the level of traffic. I will buy something in a weeks time, if I remember, and see what has been sold and it might give an idea of the precentage of grocery orders which are also buying from the entertainment site. | ![]() kimboy2
09/11/2010 13:46 | Perhaps I've got an odd grasp of investing here, but when I buy shares in a company, I expect THEM to encourage ME ;-) | ![]() yump
09/11/2010 13:40 | Are you trying to say for very early days that is very good then kimboy ? | scott84

09/11/2010 10:41 | "At the Agm I advised the Board that I would not consider the sale of the business to any party....." I'd like to know what was running through Trevor Allan's mind at that point, david! 8-) | ![]() jeffian |
