12/3/2017 21:28 | I'm not sure the court case for $210k is of any concern in the grand scheme of things. | maceman
12/3/2017 20:32 | pap - The court case was brought last September by a risk management company in Houston, who claimed that they had not been paid for services rendered to Matra USA although the invoicee was Matra plc in London. The outstanding amount was around $90,000 but they were suing for $210,000, we have not heard anything since. I would agree that if a company purchases a going concern it would incur the liabilities of that business but in the case of Matra plc because the company name is no longer valid I think they may have to re-file the case. My point was, if we carried on as Matra plc and the court case went ahead and it was found in favour of the claimant, the only asset Matra plc had was the 33% shareholding in Matra USA. We would have been wiped out along with Winpro, by moving the asset to Sweden they have protected the shareholding, even if they don't list. | beggarman
12/3/2017 19:28 | No dont complain ted. Just stop your constant whining that this is one monumental set up carried out by these russian conmen. You must live a very sad life if thats all you have is this board and your constant rants about how you have been duped. As i said you'll either make money or you wont. Have a nice day teddy boy | matra boy
12/3/2017 19:10 | We are just talking and we are relaxed. It's good to know that you have pointed out the eventual possibilities to us here as I am not sure we could have worked it out without your invaluable input - so "We'll either make some money or we won't" That changes everything . By the way when I bought my shares I received the 'your investment can go up as well as down blah blah' in color not black and white . Should I complain ? | supertedsmith
12/3/2017 17:40 | beggarman12 Mar '17 - 09:26 - 14500 of 14506 0 0 The only angle I can see is the court case. Matra plc is now Matra Petroleum Limited therefore the US company suing Matra plc is litigating against a company that no longer exists. >>>>> What dourt case is that, beggarman? I would have thought that changing the name of a company doesn't protect it in the eyes of the law. Surely Matra Petroleum Ltd would be liable to the liabilities incurred by Matra plc? | papillon
12/3/2017 12:26 | Cant see that Incidentally they weren't a week late with CDIs as stated here so end of March listing should still hold Crest withdrawn as stated end January | supertedsmith
12/3/2017 12:03 | I was just responding to the post by ned, I can't think of any reason why they would go to all this trouble to create a company in Sweden with a view to listing and then not list. The only angle I can think of is to avoid the court case. | beggarman
12/3/2017 11:54 | So what do you mean by court case angle ? | supertedsmith
12/3/2017 11:05 | I can't see the court case stopping the listing as they are not suing Matra Petroleum AB. | beggarman
12/3/2017 10:59 | Beggarman Telling you they have bailed out even if not legally signed IMHO naturally Court case ? are you saying that could stop relisting or are relisting to escape it .Latter scenario surely not | supertedsmith
12/3/2017 09:48 | smoke and mirrors are all they know. | doxford
12/3/2017 09:26 | The only angle I can see is the court case. Matra plc is now Matra Petroleum Limited therefore the US company suing Matra plc is litigating against a company that no longer exists. | beggarman
12/3/2017 07:54 | As I said, upon listing we can say whether what you say is relevant or not. I totally agree with you though, at this moment in time. | maceman
11/3/2017 22:00 | Maceman Do you really think they haven't planned this out already . I hope you get that 1p. New Website looks tad amateurish to me if they are hoping to attract investors . Or are they just going through motions til they do a runer having got all they Set out to get - 'legally' I might add 900bopd- for an outlay of $5m they have upped production by 150bopd. At what cost ? Did they really need to delist to achieve this massive boost in production . Of course not - so what did they delist . | supertedsmith
11/3/2017 20:15 | The good news is that within the next three weeks, we'll know our fate. | budgetbond
11/3/2017 18:53 | Super, as with most, anything under 1p is a failure. The whole scenario has stunk from day one. There have undoubtedly been dubious actions, from day one. That said, if we get a good price then all of that is forgiven. Opening day will tell us the final story. | maceman
11/3/2017 05:46 | I have some more information on Jan Thomas Hellstrom. I think he was brought in as CEO when Matra Petroleum AB was formed and his role will be temporary. This is a rare situation in Sweden but apparently it is a device used when there is a change of ownership of a business or in our case a new company is formed. | beggarman
10/3/2017 21:05 | I will wait and see what the news is prior to listing ..... | nedhammers1
10/3/2017 21:04 | I bet your break even price is lower than mine .... | nedhammers1
10/3/2017 21:02 | I am out first opportunity .Hope you get your 3p,They will need to | supertedsmith
10/3/2017 20:38 | To be honest whilst I wrote off my investment off my head says I would take 1p but my average/ break even point is 1.96p my heart says it might hit 3p within 6 months. My gut feeling is we are going to get screwed but I'm hoping and trying hard to remain optimistic ;-) | nedhammers1 |
