08/4/2024 15:37 | c3weeks to the next divi RNS. Assuming they hold the 2.265p quarterly divi, then we trade on a 10% yield and a 50% discount - increasing! | skyship
08/4/2024 15:32 | ZEG up 4.5% this afternoon. A good day for the MVI NAV. | skyship
08/4/2024 09:01 | ADVT up 8% this morning | cwa1
28/3/2024 08:30 | ADVT strong results and plenty upside especially given the "expected to be ahead of Board expectations" - should certainly help the NAV here going ahead. —- "In the short time since we acquired the Capita businesses, we have made very good progress with their operational performance which has improved markedly. After changing the financial year end to February, we concluded the remaining two months of the year and have started the new financial year well, securing a number of multi-million pound contracts. We remain optimistic about the opportunities for organic and acquisitive growth ahead.” “We have secured a number of substantial contracts and renewals which means that performance for the 12 months ending 28 February 2025 is expected to be ahead of Board expectations.” | x54v
28/3/2024 08:23 | Today's ADVT figures/statement have raised them to 130p... | skyship

07/3/2024 10:48 | Couple of reasonable sized trades gone through yesterday. 135,000at 90p and 145,000 at 90.75p | cwa1
04/3/2024 09:15 | Anything to stop them realising the value on ZEG? I guess they'll just stay with it, but it would be better if they sold and distributed the proceeds in a special divi etc. I suppose hell may freeze over first though? | value hound
29/2/2024 00:03 | Recent Mello Monday with Vin Murria on ADVT well worth a watch - | cf456
23/2/2024 11:00 | So a smidgeon over 50% discount, and a 10% yield, versus management doing nothing much. I like the odds despite what Tiltonboy says. | value hound
22/2/2024 08:37 | Well there's only one way to find out. | arthur_lame_stocks
22/2/2024 08:34 | ... and sell?! | chucko1
22/2/2024 07:34 | My advice is use AJ Bell, they'll let you buy. | arthur_lame_stocks
21/2/2024 12:18 | AJ Bell will had to use them instead of II who are refusing more and more | holts
19/2/2024 13:57 | The divi may be paid out of capital, but sure looks as though the capital is increasing; and that is certainly a bit of a turnaround! At 90p the yield is 10% and the discount still just under 50%. Looks as though headed for 100p in the near-term... free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
19/2/2024 10:38 | Greeting all. Just made my first investment here after extensive research. One issue I found was the difficulty in buying due to the 'not for retail' tag. Neither Interactive Investor or Barclays would let me purchase despite my (retired) prof inv status. Hargreaves were more accommodating. No doubt this shut out of retail is one factor for the consistent deep discount to nav. I also hold a few advt. My purchase is a long term hold (10 years+) to which I may add. Best. | bdbd11
19/2/2024 09:48 | Had 2.5k filled @ 88p earlier. After the 10k buy @ 90p it's NT to buy any still and the underlying Bid is up to 89.5p for decent volume. Hopefully next stop £1+ ZEG and ADVT still going well. | gleach23
16/2/2024 20:23 | Crossed at 87p. There was a cheeky 86p bid in the auction but didn't get filled | tiltonboy
16/2/2024 17:01 | I've only just got back in after being out all afternoon. What price were the 50K offered at tilts/were there any in the closing auction? Cheers | cwa1
16/2/2024 16:15 | 50k were offered in the 2pm auction...and got taken. See if any more are put in the closing auction! | tiltonboy
16/2/2024 15:28 | Looks like it's gone back to the stage where one has to put an order in to buy any. Hopefully a precursor to a next leg up. | gleach23
16/2/2024 11:44 | I’m hearing they are close to a deal for one of the “shells” Might be worth a penny on the SP | tiltonboy |
