11/9/2018 22:40 | ianood is a hopeless investor and an inveterate daydreaming ramper. for example this is a post of his two years ago on Marston's number 1799 dated November 2016 when the Marston's share price was 150p: "Hope that's true libertine, its what we have been looking to for some time now and could result in a re-rating of MARS." a re-rating indeed. Price today 92p. Since 2016 alone he has lost 40% of his money on Marston's and still ramping away. As with EasyJet, looks like he is uncannily accurate in picking and losing money on another share which has performed dismally. | quepassa
11/9/2018 20:30 | QP - That's not quite how I remember your dreadful and illogical postings on EZJ. I have to say your credibility was shot to pieces. | ianood

11/9/2018 15:06 | I believe that the analyst who used to cover the stock for NUMIS left some time ago to join PH but was locked out on 'gardening leave' for a lengthy period until quite recently. It appears that he is now back in business and is quite highly rated by many Institutions This being the case, and given the abject performance of the share price over the last 12 months: exacerbated by concerns over debt/EBITDA ratios, index selling following the shares demotion to the SmallCap index etc. etc., it would be no surprise to me if the company were to appoit PH as sole or joint broker in the near future. Either way, the valuation below 100p looks an absolute steal for any predator, be it industry or private equity. A simple refinancing and reconstruction, or a possible break up would be easy options and this could all be done outside of the public eye. The only question being what sort of premium to the current share price would be needed to sway long suffering investors AND gain management support and still provide a reasonable return ? | forsh |
