04/11/2005 08:12 | Yep. Though I'd imagine the EGM would be in Canada and we'd have to find a good man to go over and represent us there. Big trades here yesterday too. Wish I had taken 5p the other day! :( | mg78
04/11/2005 00:08 | Canada share up on 4.9M shares volumes. MASSIVE 3% shares changed hands... what's going on? MRL I have been a sharholder for 2 years but it's true that as I came accross this bulletin board until recently I had no idea about the current management and Bolivar (where they have so much to do, sardinia has become second best), Simon Cauwell and al... well the management will not go away like that, we need an EGM in London as soon as possible. | victorfromportugal
03/11/2005 22:47 | ARGY2 - yeah he continued a 'buy' recomendation which wasn't so clever, but still, I dont think he anticipated just how dreadful the management have been - none of us did. They have been extraordinarily bad. Don't get me wrong, I have no reason to defend anyone, but I think the term 'ramp' is a bit harsh. Anyway, I wish everyone, including yourself and T.W. the best of luck. Lets hope there is something positive on the way. | mg78
03/11/2005 22:20 | this is not dead as its gone up 20% in can some one can smell the cash sargold shares i think 29p worth | made1686
03/11/2005 22:13 | mg78 TW also went on to ramp sorry tip MRL after the split. | argy2
03/11/2005 15:50 | funny he transferred the shares to his missus pension fund... I have done the same!!! long term holding now... lol | victorfromportugal
03/11/2005 15:29 | Oh my god!!! very interesting! | victorfromportugal
03/11/2005 14:59 | well I had no idea he was a shareholder... it's interesting then... | victorfromportugal
03/11/2005 14:35 | V yes, of course, he would hardly want to change the management otherwise I intend to make contact with him | alexx
03/11/2005 14:17 | Evil is long of Medoro https://www.t1ps.com | victorfromportugal
03/11/2005 12:23 | I've read from the T1ps.com website that Evil (Simon Cawkwell) would be very interested in getting backing to get rid of the current management. | bluelynx
03/11/2005 09:54 | some voyeurs are reading this!!!! go away!!! it's a sickness. ps: mrl shareholders stay tuned, news coming. by the way who knows if it is possible to trade in toronto shares bought in london (mrl) as the liquidity is much higher there and MM seem less crooks there? cheers | victorfromportugal
02/11/2005 19:24 | I do not expect a reply but I just sent them an email. An extract below from a statement by Gold Fields: "In the European region, Gold Fields relinquished its option on the Monte Ollasteddu prospect in Sardinia with Medoro Resources (TSX-V: "MRL")." So is that the end of Sardinia for MRL?? there does not seem to be much left apart from cash, and unless you have a brilliant trick up your sleeves that could quickly disappear!!!!!! so were now? and what now? a change of direction? maybe new management!!!! some answers would be appreciated, you have a lot of p----d off shareholders at present. | graylyn
01/11/2005 18:17 | well im out...lost enough so cut loss and buy something else with a chance.... good luck :-) | dollyg
01/11/2005 15:36 | As I said this is only going one way whilst the current management team stays at the helm - a very sad state, just blowing our money away. | feroza
01/11/2005 15:17 | I said several posts back that this is now a glorious cash shell. Regrettably I believe MO is a dead asset now,but we have the cash,a hopeful smelter royalty and a dual listing, along with asset write downs. If Management wish to wash their hands of the situation there must be dozens of Cos with good prospects that could see the opportunity to reverse into this. That way we could still see potentially good returns on investment. Crossing fingers for any decent outcome to what has so far proven to have been a bad mistake. | richgit
01/11/2005 15:06 | Gold fields have let the option on monte ollestaddu lapse - going absolutely no where until the heads roll | feroza
01/11/2005 15:00 | VICTOR I'm sure most on this thread already knew weeks ago that the problem was with directors working on Bolivar and ignoring Medoro, in fact I'm very surprised that you didn't, who usually seem to know more about Medoro than I do. This was surely the whole point of trying to do something, getting the cash returned to shareholders. If we just sit and wait it's very difficult to see why the directors should ever bother with Medoro, they'll do better continuing with Bolivar | alexx
01/11/2005 14:47 | I am not, but I can easily imagine what sort of explaination they can come up with... | victorfromportugal |
